Apollo Crews' and Finn Balor's betting odds have continued to fall in their respective match markets for SummerSlam.
Crews, who went from a +100 outsider on Saturday down to a -160 favourite yesterday evening, is now -180 chalk to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship match on August 21st. His opponet, The Miz, has moved from -140 to +140 in the same period.
Following last night's Raw, where Finn Balor confirmed he'll don the demon face-paint for his WWE Universal Championship decider against Seth Rollins, the babyface's odds began to descend. He went from a +160 outsider into +130. The fall has continued through the day. A winning bet on Balor will now pay out at even money.
As a result, Seth Rollins' number is now at -140. He kicked off the day at -170.
For what it's worth, I fully expect Balor to become a favourite imminently. The reasoning is simple: if Balor is bringing the demon out, it'll be the first time some passive WWE fans - who don't watch NXT - will see the gimmick. It'll be kind of foolish to go to all that effort if he's being booked to lose the bout in less than two weeks.
As for the rest of the board - all the markets remain as they were at the start of the day. They are:
Brock Lesnar -400
Randy Orton +280
Dean Ambrose -750
Dolph Ziggler +450
Sasha Banks -1350
Charlotte +650
All eyes on the Smackdown markets tonight. I'll return sometime tomorrow morning with a look through all the odds to see if anything has changed. I'm really keen to see the Balor odds and where they'll be in a few hours.
Prices correct as of 10:30pm BST. The latest odds can be found on the betting board at 5Dimes.com.
