Huge Price Moves In TLC 2016 Betting

I have only just finished publishing the post where I went through 5Dimes' TLC 2016 odds at 8am and most of the information is already obsolete.

There have been huge price changes within the last half an hour. They are:
  • The team of Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt has now moved in from -565 into -1200 faves
  • Baron Corbin's number has shortened from -400 into -1580
  • Nikki Bella has moved mildly from -165 into -280
  • The Miz has been backed from -160 into -825
  • Alexa Bliss has shortened from -195 into -1140
  • AJ Styles is now -2750 from -870
The entire board can be viewed in the image below.

  2. Hello smart money, was really hoping Becky would get a longer reign.

  3. guys stop using the term "smart money" in your comments. Bookies are learning, 5dimes has much lower limits. Don't drain the swamp.

    1. They aren't 'learning' anything. They know what this is.

  4. too bad kambi hasn't published TLC markets yet, would've loved to take Alexa on the juicier odds

    1. Sites are learning to wait longer and longer because of this "S**** M****." Take a look at 5dimes limits.

    2. Okay.

Ever since WrestleMania, SMART MONEY has been coming in earlier than the regular time it had been coming in. A number of sportsbooks, including 5Dimes, were hit for months. This forced 5Dimes to change things up and publish PPV odds a few days before an event. Most UK/European books use the 5Dimes odds as a guideline to price their own markets. This is why most of the firms over here are publishing late.

It's naive to think that people writing 'Smart Money' is 'teaching' bookmakers anything. This has been going on long before I came along.

    3. Just be happy you can bet on WWE at all. Itd be very easy for 5dimes to just stop one day

    4. Not everyone agrees, Mr Taylor.
Its also naive to think that this website isn't influencing their actions. This website is like a huge paper trail for them to sift through. There is way too much detail here compared to the content that's being produced on other wrestling betting websites.

    5. I've never denied that people in the gambling industry read my content. They've been here since the first few weeks that this blog has been in existence. Therefore, my point stands, the current situation with smart money coming in earlier than the 11pm Sunday zone has been what has forced the books to change their approach to this.

I don't want to get into mud slinging with other wrestling betting websites, so I won't respond to that even though I have a lot to say.

I've given you your platform. From now, I'd appreciate it if you quit hiding behind the 'Anonymous' name.

  5. Fair enough, I'm just saying that not everyone agrees with the arguments that you make about smart money and transparency.
I'm not the only one using the "anonymous" handle. Why don't you remove the option if you don't want people commenting anonymously.
I never mentioned "mud slinging". I'm not being smart but it seems to have hit a nerve.

    1. Smart money has been around for absolutely ages... Bookies have known about it before this website existed... Cmon man

    2. I won't remove the Anonymous handle because some people use it to contact me. However, I do have a problem with people hiding behind it to tell others what not to say and do. The least you can do is be straight up.

No nerves have been hit regarding other betting websites. They do what they do, I do what I do. I'm happy with my content.

    3. In fairness to you, you do publish comments with differing opinions, so props there!

    4. Just to be clear: I am not the person posting as "Anonymous" - even though he called David "Mr Taylor" like I tend to do.

If I have something to say here I post under my own name, or as "resigned punter" ;)

  6. @Anonymous, I'm never always right. That's why it's good to see other's opinions on matches to let other's make up their own minds.

Like with Дмитрий last month. He was adamant that Goldberg would win and I couldn't find a reason why. We're once again at odds because he thinks it'll be Ziggler and I'm sure it'll be Miz through an assist by Maryse.

  7. Guys, after further thought, in reality there is no such thing as smart money in wrestling!
There is no truer definition to the word gambling than placing money on the whims of one Vincent Kennedy McMahon. The man is as crazy as a rat trapped in a s--t tin house!! haha

    1. There definitely is.

In no other sport betting market does the favourites win 90% of the time.
