WrestleMania 33 Champions Odds For March 8th

Now that WWE is focused on fully promoting WrestleMania 33, and after watching this week's Raw and Smackdown, I thought I'd check in with the 'WrestleMania Champion Specials' that have been available on Paddy Power's WWE Betting Page since early February.

In this post, I'll run through all of the markets and note how the prices have changed since I last checked in with them.

The winning selections will be whoever is holding the respective titles at the conclusion of this year's Mania.

Intercontinental Champion
This has been all Baron Corbin and it's hardly surprising as he is in a feud with the current WWE IC Champ - Dean Ambrose.  Corbin is currently 4/11. He was 2/5 yesterday. His price dropping coincides with this week's Smackdown where he beat up Ambrose.

Smackdown Women's Champion
As we found out on last night's edition of Smackdown - Alexa Bliss will defend her title against all of the ladies on the Smackdown roster who aren't already tied up to other matches on the card (ie Marye and Nikki Bella). The person whose price has moved in between last night and today is Mickie James. She was 4/1, but now 7/2.
Alexa Bliss has remained at the 11/8 she was moved to on February 23rd.
Interestingly, Naomi has been taken off the board. I know she is injured, but the injury was not supposed to have kept her out for too long. The match being open to anyone on the Smackdown roster does not shut the door on Naomi participating. I believe that - if she is ready to go - she has a very good chance of reclaiming the title in her home city.

Smackdown Tag Team Championship
The Revival has dropped from 6/1 to 4/1 within a day while the current titleholders, American Alpha, has moved out from 1/2 to 8/15.

Universal Championship
Now that the Universal Championship match is confirmed to be between Bill Goldberg and Brock Lesnar, there are only two names left in the market. Brock Lesnar is 1/12 while the current champ, Goldberg, is out at 5/1.

WWE Championship
Just like with the Universal Championship match, we now know that the WWE Title will be on the line in the match where Randy Orton will challenge Bray Wyatt for the strap, so every other selection has been wiped. The Viper is 2/7 and Wyatt is out at 9/4. The latter was 7/4 yesterday.

US Championship
Kevin Owens is a 2/5 favourite to be clutching the WWE US Championship by the time WrestleMania 33 is put to bed. Current champ, Chris Jericho, is 7/4. The punters have been going in on Owens as his price was 1/2 less than a week ago.

Raw Tag Team Championship
When I looked through the market yesterday, I noticed that Enzo and Cass were 11/4 to be champs by the end of Mania. They are now down to 9/4. As a result of the move, Gallows and Anderson have jumped out to 1/2 from 4/9.
We'll get a better idea on what Raw's tag match will be for WrestleMania after Monday when Enzo and Cass wrestle Sheamus and Cesaro to determine the number one contenders. Until then, it's worth noting that Sheamus and Cesaro are 5/2. They were 4/1 on March 2nd, so they are being backed.

Cruiserweight Championship
Austin Aries is a 4/6 favourite. He has been available at this price since late February. The most recent episode of Raw hinted that Aries .vs. Neville will be the Cruiserweight Championship match on the WrestleMania card.
With that said, Rich Swann's odds have declined. They were 10/1 last Thursday, but are now showing at 4s.
Neville is an 11/10 second-favourite.

Raw Women's Champion
Bayley's odds to be holding the title after April 2nd have shortened from 1/3 into 2/7 since yesterday. As a result, Charlotte Flair has moved up from 7/4 to 15/8 and Sasha Banks from 9/4 into 5/2.
Nia Jax was originally rumoured to be in the match, but this week's TV would have you believe that she is no longer in this plan and that the bout will be a triple threat. Until we know for sure, it's worth noting that Jax is 6/1. She has drifted out from 7/2.

I'll continue to watch these markets right up until the time when we know for certain what the full card is is.

When available, the market can be found ON THIS PAGE.
