WrestleMania 33 Prop Bets : Goldberg .vs. Lesnar

In this post, I intend to look through the WrestleMania 33 prop bets for the Universal Championship match. They were published by the Kambi oddsmakers in the early hours of this morning.

There are a handful of specials available and I have already placed a bet on one of the markets. I'll start with that one...

Match Duration From Bell-to-Bell

The line is set at around 6:30. You can bet 6:30 or over or 6:29 or less. I have sided with the over. Bill Goldberg's recent singles matches have been short and I think this one HAS to go longer simply because it's WrestleMania and one of the key matches on the card.

I backed the over when it was 4/5. When I checked in a few minutes ago, I noticed it had been cut to 5/9. The 6:29 or less has moved from 9/10 to 5/4.

Listed Occurrence To Happen In The Match

The traders have put prices to three things that could happen in the match. They are:

Goldberg to kick out of an F5 1/2

Lesnar to break record for most suplexes in a match 7/1

Lesnar to kick out of a Jackhammer 1/4

I don't like the 1/4, but I can absolutely see Brock Lesnar kicking out of a Jackhammer. In fact, I would not be surprised if the start of this match is booked similar to how their Survivor Series bout went with Goldberg hitting his moves and going for the pin. Only, this time, Lesnar kicks out at two. 

Participant To Obtain The First 'Near' Fall

For these bets to be successful the first person to get at least a two count on their opponent will be classified the winner. The odds are as follows:

Bill Goldberg EVS

Brock Lesnar 18/25

You know what I'm going to pick here, right? If the idea I am running with above plays out, then Goldberg should get the first near fall in this match. I haven't placed a bet on this just yet, but will as soon as I hit 'Publish'.

1st Of Listed Moves To Be Performed In The Match

The traders have the Spear .vs. the F5 with the odds being:

Spear 13/20

F5 11/10

Once again, the idea I have is telling me to go for the Spear to be executed ahead of the F5.

The traders are also accepting bets on how many suplexes (6 or more / 5 or less) or F5's (2 or more/ 1 or less) Brock Lesnar delivers within the match. I don't feel compelled to bet on any of the options.

So, I've backed the following:

1) The match to go over 6:30

2) Bill Goldberg to obtain the first 'near' fall

3) Spear to beat the F5 in the head-to-head of listed moves to be executed first
