I've just had a look at their WWE Betting Odds and have noticed a market that I had always wanted a sportsbook to produce. I've requested this sort of market numerous times in the past, but it has never been granted.
It's a special where customers can predict which match - on tonight's card - will get the most stars in the upcoming issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Here are the matches along with the respective odds:
WWE Cruiserweight Championship 6/4 (+150)
WWE US Championship 6/4 (+150)
WWE Raw Women's Championship 5/2 (+250)
Roman Reigns .vs. The Undertaker 5/1 (+500)
Seth Rollins .vs. Triple H 5/1 (+500)
WWE Intercontinental Championship 8/1 (+800)
WWE World Championship 8/1 (+800)
Shane McMahon .vs. AJ Styles 10/1 (+1000)
WWE Raw Tag Team Championship 12/1 (+1200)
Bill Goldberg .vs. Brock Lesnar 15/1 (+1500)
John Cena/Nikki Bella .vs. The Miz/Maryse 15/1 (+1500)
Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal 25/1 (+2500)
WWE Smackdown Women's Championship 25/1 (+2500)
There's also a market where customers can bet on 'Any match on the card to be awarded a 5 star rating or more'. This is 15/1 (+1500).
Dave Meltzer - the newsletter's editor - has been grading matches in the publication for many years. The results of this year's Mania matches will be printed in the issue that will be released late on Wednesday / early Thursday.
The market can be found under 'WWE' on the sports betting websites that use Kambi pricing. Three examples can be found below:
Love it... dead heat rule will probably apply, he loves to give Roman 4 stars and HHH v Seth could be huge.
ReplyDeleteI like the chance of Owens/Jericho, but don't like the odds.
DeleteHave placed a bet on Taker/Reigns, but it is a gamble with Taker looking the way he has physically.
Same I have taken the 5/1 about Reigns... ill accept a dead heat if it gets 4 stars with Owens
DeleteHad a small punt on Shane vs AJ. I think it could be great.
DeleteIsn't this just an easy way for Dave to make some serious cash?
ReplyDeleteNah.
DeleteHe could bet the max on the battle royal, give it a hyped six stars, and then make huge earnings without any risk.
DeleteHe actually couldn't because none of these websites accept customers in the US. Most importantly, he has more integrity than to do something like that.
DeleteAJ Shane is my punt, Seth HHH too
