Cena A Sole Favourite In 2 Mania Championship Markets And More

John Cena is now a sole favourite in two WrestleMania 34 betting markets where customers can bet on who they believe will be holding a major title at the conclusion of the April 8th event.

Before yesterday, Cena was a joint-favourite, alongside Roman Reigns, in the WWE Universal Championship market. Both were even money. However, when the market was republished yesterday, the oddsmakers had moved Reigns up to 6/4.

In the WWE Championship market, Cena was snipped from 6/4 to evens. He had been in a three-way tie at the top of the market at 6/4.

As a result of Cena's odds moving in, AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura - who were part of the tie - have both been raised to 2/1.

It makes sense for Cena to be sitting at the top of the two markets. This is because - as a 'free agent' - he could be in either of the championship pictures during WrestleMania season.

He isn't the only name that the punters have evidently been backing.

Brock Lesnar's price to still be Universal Champion after the event is complete has also been cut. This is surprising considering - as of the time of writing - his contract with WWE will expire around that time and it makes no sense for him to be still holding the strap by the end of Mania.

The 2017 Money in the Bank winner - Baron Corbin - has been cut in the market for the WWE Championship. He is now 5/2, but had been 3/1.

The markets are available from the websites that offer WWE betting from Kambi. A couple of examples are found below:
