New No Mercy 2017 WON Star Ratings Specials Published

In the previous post, I noted that the Kambi oddsmakers have put up a handful of new, and a couple of old, WWE No Mercy 2017 betting markets in preparation for this Sunday's pay-per-view. The traders have also done the same for their Wrestling Observer Newsletter star ratings specials.

For those of you unaware, Kambi has been publishing over/under markets for recent PPVs. Customers can have a bet whether the newsletter's editor - Dave Meltzer - gives a higher, or lower, star than the line. For this month, the oddsmakers have introduced a third option where clients can also predict whether Meltzer's rating falls exactly on the line.

Before today, there had been star ratings specials published for the two bigger bouts on Sunday's cards. I'll cover these odds first before delving into the newer markets.

WWE Universal Championship
The WWE Universal Championship special was published on September 8th. The line was set at four stars with the 'Over' at 6/4, 'Exact' at 17/20 and 'Under' at 6/4.

The market remained stationary for the entire time it was available. However, it has now been readjusted. The traders have cut the 'Under' from 6/4 into 5/4.

John Cena .vs. Roman Reigns
Just like with the Universal Championship market, the oddsmakers published a John Cena versus Roman Reigns special on September 8th. There were price changes in this particular market.

Two selections have been snipped with the readjustment. The option to bet on exactly four-and-a-quarter stars has lowered from 5/4 to evens and the under has dropped from 11/10 also to EVS.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship
The line for Neville's WWE Cruiserweight Championship defence against Enzo Amore has been set at two-and-three-quarter stars. The oddsmakers have given the 'Under' 9/10, 'Exactly' 11/10 and 'Over' 2/1.

Finn Balor .vs. Bray Wyatt
The Balor versus Wyatt grudge match has been set at three stars. The 'Under' is 6/4, while the options to back 'Exactly' and 'Over' are both available at 23/20 each.

WWE Intercontinental Championship
Jason Jordan's challenge for The Miz's Intercontinental Title has been set at three stars. The 'Over' is 6/4, 'Exactly' is 23/20 and 'Under' is 23/20.

WWE Raw Tag Team Championship
The traders have given this SummerSlam rematch a line of four stars. The 'Under' is 6/4, 'Exactly' is 23/20 and 'Over' is 23/20.

WWE Raw Women's Championship
The line for the fatal 5-way match has been set at three stars. 'Under' is a 9/10 favourite, 'Exactly' is 7/5 and 'Over' is out at 8/5.

Lean
I am often asked what I have bet on in these markets. For those interested, I've taken the 'Under 3 Stars'  at 6/4 in the Finn Balor versus Bray Wyatt match. The reasoning is simple - the last time they wrestled on PPV, the match was rated two-and-three-quarter stars.
