Catching Up On The Asuka Conqueror Betting Market

The oddsmakers from Kambi republished their Asuka conqueror markets last weekend. They have since been taken down, but I thought I would put up an update pointing out what the odds were and indicate where the prices have been cut.

For those of you new to this, these markets will pay out on the person who gets a pinfall, submission or ref stoppage decision over Raw's newest female acquisition in a match that has to be announced at least twenty-four hours before it takes place.

There's also a market that will pay out on the date this defeat occurs (or not!). I will cover this below.

WWE Conqueror Betting - Next Person To Defeat Asuka

The market was first published on September 22nd with the 'No Defeat Til After End Of WrestleMania 34' a 9/10 favourite. It remained at 9/10 across the days that I have tracked the market until Sunday's republication. It has now been snipped to 4/5.

'No Defeat' isn't the only selection that was cut by October 22nd. Other names backed are current WWE Raw Women's Champion - Alexa Bliss - who has fallen from 10/1 to 8/1, Nikki Bella from 8/1 to 11/2, and Nia Jax from 7/2 to 3/1.

The compilers have pushed out the following:

Bayley from 8/1 to 10/1
Shayna Baszler 5/1 to 13/2
Carmella from 4/1 to 5/1
Ronda Rousey from 7/2 to 4/1

With the 'No Defeat Until After WrestleMania 34' being cut from 9/10 into 4/5 in the above market, it should come as no surprise to see the same thing happen below:

WWE Conqueror Betting - Date Of Asuka's Defeat

The similarly worded option, that is one of three selections where customers can guess when Asuka suffers her first loss, is now 4/5 here as well. The options to bet 'Before WrestleMania 34' and 'During WrestleMania 34' have both been pushed out to 8/5 from 6/4.

Ever since the Asuka-themed markets were published, I have been stating that, if done right, Asuka's undefeated streak should go all the way to at least WrestleMania 35. After Sunday's debut, I'm anxious to see how the company will handle the streak. My eighteen month plan might have been optimistic.

This is the first of many posts that I'll be publishing tonight and tomorrow where I intend to catch up with all the markets that I didn't cover over TLC 2017 weekend.

When the market is republished, you'll find it on the websites that publish betting odds from the Kambi oddsmakers. A couple of examples are found below:
