Despite moving to favouritism following 5Dimes' moves in favour of him, Kalisto is back to underdog in a WWE TLC 2017 market on the websites that publish betting odds from Kambi.
As of the time of writing, Kalisto is 7/5. He was 1/8 when I checked in before midnight.
Enzo Amore - who was 4/1 - has now been cut to 1/2.
5Dimes still has Kalisto at -750.
What do you make of this?
ReplyDeleteI'm still tempted by the Kendrick line...
Time will tell.
ReplyDeleteThrew 30 at Kallisto on 5dimes after reading this...hopefully it's legit
ReplyDeleteIt's legit in that Kalisto is a favourite at 5Dimes and outsider here in Europe.
DeleteHm what would cause the discrepancy?
DeletePeople betting on one line to move it then sending their friends in on the other side.
DeleteYep I think Enzo is winning and someone has managed to trick people into betting heavier on Kalisto to then get a decent pay=off on Enzo.. I suppose time will tell.
DeleteBy the way, Joey. Kalisto? Don't you mean Enzo?
DeleteOops, you're right David. I got a bit frenzied trying to figure out what was going on haha.
DeleteAnd Jordan I agree. I don't see Kalisto holding it longer since his initial win was a day-of decision anyways. And Enzo is doing great as champ, I don't see them wanting to take it off of him for good just yet. I was surprised when the line shifted to Kalisto a few hours ago. But I could be wrong.
DeleteAnd I upped my Enzo play...ugh...hoping Europe is sharper...
ReplyDeleteMaybe no-contest?
ReplyDeleteI never get this theory about no contests because of the see-sawing odds.
DeleteIf it is going to be a no contest, there is no need betting on Enzo.
The bets will be deemed void so no point betting on the other side.
But sometimes people still make bets on it. For example Rusev - Reings at Summerslam 2016. When Rusev was heavy favorite, but -2700, than before closing odds go to -2000. But that was no-contest
DeleteIt doesn't make sense.
DeleteIf people who know the result have backed Person A and then something changes where the result will end up being a tie/no contest then there is absolutely no reason for them to back Person B as the bets will be voided.
There are two scenarios that happened with this particular match.
DeleteA) There was a change
B) The people were playing with the lines to get a better price on Enzo
I'm leaning on B.
