Survivor Series Observer Star Rating Betting Update For Sunday

Over the past few days, I've been keeping track of the Wrestling Observer Star Ratings specials that are available from the sportsbooks that publish betting odds from Kambi and thought I'd publish this post to update you.

There are three kinds of markets available. They are 'Highest Rated Match On The Card', 'Over/Unders' and a special where customers can get 13/2 odds on a match receiving five stars or more in Dave Meltzer's review of the event that should appear in the upcoming issue of his newsletter.

The punters have evidently backed the men's elimination match to earn the most praise from the newsletter's editor as it has moved from 6/5 to 7/10 across the two days that the market has been up.

The Shield .vs. The New Day has seen some interest, too. Its price was snipped from 3/1 to 2/1 when the prices were readjusted overnight.

Over/Unders
For those of you knew to this, the oddsmakers have priced up markets for every match and have predicted how Meltzer could react to them. Each bout has been given a star rating line and the customer can choose whether to bet above, below or exactly on what the linemakers have set.

The Cruiserweight Championship match has remained at the prices that were available when the market was first installed on Friday morning. They've set the line at one-and-three-quarter stars.

The battle of the women's champions was given a line of three-and-a-quarter stars. The punters have backed it to receive less than that amount of stars as they've moved the odds from 4/5 to 13/20 across the two days.

The majority of bets also appear to be on the Brock Lesnar versus AJ Styles meeting to receive less than four-and-a-quarter stars.

The punters have also backed the tag team match - that will see The Usos taking on The Bar - receive less than the line. The odds for 'Under 4 Stars' has been halved from 7/5 into 7/10 since Friday.

There's still no change in the market for the men's elimination market. The line here has been set at four-and-a-half stars.

The women's elimination market saw life yesterday evening when the 'Over 2.75 Stars' option was cut from 6/5 into EVENS. I have backed this option and wrote about it in a post published yesterday, so I expect others followed suit.

Another market that I've bet on is the one for The Miz's meeting with WWE US Champion, Baron Corbin.

I wrote on Friday that I felt it had potential to go under two-and-a-half stars.

Any Card To Be Awarded 5 Stars Or More
The special where customers can have a bet on Dave Meltzer praising a match enough to reward it with five stars or more has been 13/2 across the two days.

As per usual, I'll have a review of these markets - and how they're settled - when the newsletter is published in the latter part of next week.
