They have set the line of the men's chamber match at 52:30. The line seems way too high knowing how these matches have gone in the past.
The longest chamber match in history (according to Wikipedia) is the first-ever match that took place at the Survivor Series in 2002. This bout lasted a little over thirty-nine minutes.
Therefore, the oddsmakers' line is set at around thirteen minutes longer than the record.
Sure, there's an extra participant in this year's match. This shouldn't matter that much as the bout will begin with three people rather than two. The five minute intervals before a new wrestler is released from each of the four pods is unaffected.
As of the time of placing my bet, the 'Under' was 9/10 to the Over's 4/5.
It's now under/over 50 minutes. Would you still back the under for this?
ReplyDeleteIt's still above what the record is.
DeleteIf It opened at 50, I would have still placed a bet. Not sure if I would have written a post, though.
Elias to be first eliminated at 20/1 is also tempting. Any other superstar going before him makes little sense to me.
ReplyDeleteI don't like that one because he's entering last.
DeleteThat's the only issue with it, but for WWE to make the 'first ever 7 mens elimination chamber' it does make sort of sense to see all 7 of them fighting at once.
DeleteIf you think this, then you have to bet on the 'Over' in the time prop.
DeleteIt's probably along the lines of where Kambi are thinking.
DeleteAlso David, let's pretend we're in a happy place and Roman Reigns isn't winning. Who else would it have to be?
ReplyDelete100% Rollins.
DeleteThey sure did give him a huge push by beating Roman Reigns and then John Cena!
DeleteHope they have something big planned for him. He deserves it.
I really hope they pull the trigger and turn Reigns heel at Wrestlemania, and even go as far to have Heyman exit the arena with him.
DeleteThat would be great, tbh.
