I wrote about the market yesterday and noted that I had placed a bet on Dana White being there because I had read an article which stated he might be in attendance. Whether he will end up being shown is another thing entirely.
White is no longer available in this market. However, every other name that I wrote about in yesterday's post still are.
Donald Trump is now up to 10/1 from 7s while the selection whose odds have have been cut is Batista. They've dropped from even money into 1/2.
Interestingly, the oddsmakers must have had wagers placed on Batista not only showing up tonight, but also to win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal because he went from 20/1 to being taken down completely by yesterday afternoon. He has since been reinstalled at 10s.
I don't understand why there was panic in Batista winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. He was initially being lined up for the Kurt Angle spot on tonight's show, so being asked to win a match that's being thrown away for free on the pre-show is kind of beneath him when you consider what the original plan was.
He could very well show up tonight, but doing so in the pre-show's battle royal seems like a waste of time, in my opinion.
With that rant over, here are the odds for the other selections:
The Undertaker 1/100
Bray Wyatt 1/20
The Rock 1/3
Rob Gronkowski 1/2
Vince McMahon 1/2
Linda McMahon 4/6
Steve Austin 3/4
Hulk Hogan 6/4
Shaquille O'Neal 6/4
Chris Jericho 4/1
Conor McGregor 10/1
Kenny Omega 7/1
Piers Morgan 10/1
CM Punk 15/1
Zlatan Ibrahimovic 20/1
