Customers can place wagers on the winners of the two bouts scheduled for next week. They can also take punts on the gender of the person who scores the winning decision.
Braun Strowman and Alexa Bliss are 2/13 to win their bout against Natalya and Kevin Owens (7/2).
I believe the bookies have priced up the 'Gender of Decision' market for Strowman/Bliss .vs. Natalya/Owens spot on. They've installed 'Female' as a 7/10 fave to 'Male' at EVS.
The only way Strowman would lose is if there was some DQ decision, I suppose. I can't see it, though. I think the obvious route to go is to have Alexa Bliss score the decision over Natalya.
Bliss would need to rebound from her recent losses (and she's likely to have lost yet another by the time this match takes place) so - to me - it makes the most sense for the former WWE Raw Women's Champ to get the decision in this match.
As for the AJ Styles and Charlotte Flair versus Naomi and Jimmy Uso meeting - the oddsmakers have placed 'Male' as an 8/13 favourite to 'Female' at 23/20.
I surmise the bookie made 'Male' favourite here because they had 'Female' at the shorter price in the aforementioned market. For what it's worth, I can see either gender getting the result for their team so I'm passing on a bet.
Another thing in the back of my mind that has forced me to avoid betting on the gender market for the Smackdown tag match is - with WWE Evolution just around the corner, it wouldn't surprise me if we have weeks where the ladies go 2-0 for their respective teams.
Flair and Styles are 1/10 favourites to win the match. It'll be interesting to see if either one has lost their respective championship by Tuesday or will be a dream team as such as they would both be in possession of the major titles of their brand.
For what it's worth, Naomi and Jimmy Uso are 9/2.
