Potential WWE Palpable/Obvious Errors On Rock Props

A few visitors have brought a couple of WWE specials to my attention and I feel it is important to point out that I believe they are obvious/palpable errors.

The two prop markets are specific to The Rock. One asks the customer whether he'll wrestle on the Smackdown 1,000 show and the other concerns him wrestling on the WrestleMania 35 card.

Here's the Smackdown 1,000 market:

WWE Prop Bet - Rock To Wrestle At Smackdown 1000

As you can see, they've priced The Rock to wrestle on the 1000th Smackdown episode at -200 favourite. The 'No' is +160.

It stands out for one simple reason - it's unlikely WWE would give away a Rock match for free on television. Especially since it has been over five years since he's wrestled (I'm not counting the Erick Rowman match at Mania 32, but even that was on PPV).

If Dwayne Johnson were to appear on the special edition of Smackdown - which will air on Tuesday October 16th - the most likely scenario is for him to do a promo or something.

What has strengthened my belief that MyBookie has made a palpable/obvious error is how they've priced up the Rock to wrestle at WrestleMania 35 prop.

WWE Prop Bet - Rock To Wrestle At WrestleMania 35

The odds on Dwayne Johnson to wrestle on April 7th of next year have been given an outsider number of +260. Rock NOT wrestling at Mania is a -260 favourite.

If you were to ask a wrestling fan which is the likeliest of the two - I am confident the majority would pick Rock to wrestle at Mania over Smackdown.

I strongly believe the bookie has accidentally jumbled the odds for both markets. To highlight my point, look at how it would look if I were to correct them:

The Rock Wrestles At Smackdown 1000th?
Yes +220
No -260

The Rock Wrestles At 2019 WrestleMania?
Yes -200
No +160

They look more accurately priced, if I say so myself. With that said, I would have offered Rock wrestling on Smackdown at a higher price than +220.

It should go without saying that I don't recommend wagering on these markets.

Odds correct as of 10AM BST today. They can be found on THIS PAGE.

Thanks to everyone who told me about this market.

  1. BetOnline posted the Rock wrestling at Smackdown several weeks ago for -180 yes and +140 no. It's now -170/+130. I'm surprised you do not think "no" is a tremendous bet.
