Bad WrestleMania Idea, Good Odds

I shared a random idea with a number of friends I talked wrestling with over the weekend and then thought I'd request it on Sky Bet's RequestABet page for WrestleMania 35 to see what odds I could get.

It's probably one of the most out there ideas I've ever thought up as it pertains wrestling storylines, so it is in good bad company. It's a gamble on WWE kind of repeating something from this year's WrestleMania by reintroducing somebody the company debuted.

I have asked for Cesaro and Sheamus to lose the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship at Mania to their current ally, The Big Show, and...

Nicholas!

At WrestleMania 34, Nicholas teamed with Braun Strowman to beat Cesaro and Sheamus for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship, so this scenario would be similar other than Nicholas would have a different big man partner and it'll be for Smackdown's version of the belts.

The selection was added to the RequestABet page this afternoon. It opened at 250/1, but is now down to 200/1 after my £1.25 bet.

On the topic of Sky Bet's specials for Mania, the odds for 'Batista to defeat Triple H in a scheduled match' is now at 8/1. I first wrote about this selection when it was 6/1 and noted that I had taken a punt thinking the odds were attractive despite the thought that Triple H is due a win against his former protege. My bet looks even more questionable now that Hunter is due to go under the knife later on today to fix a torn pectoral muscle that was injured at Crown Jewel.
