Charlotte Down To EVS And More

Charlotte Flair is now down to even money in a betting market for the tables, ladders and chairs triple threat match that's scheduled to take place on PPV in a little over two weeks.

A betting market, published by Sky Bet earlier this week, has been favouring Flair and - to a lesser extent - Asuka to walk away from the Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2018 show holding the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship that's currently in possession of Becky Lynch.

As you can see, Flair was 3/1 when I first came across the market a couple of days ago. Asuka was out at 6/1 but is now at half that.

The current champ has drifted out from 2/5 and is presently at 7/4.

There have been adjustments made to some of the other matches that are set for TLC.

Ronda Rousey is now 1/8 to successfully retain the WWE Raw Women's Championship against Nia Jax (9/2). She was previously 1/7 to Jax's 4/1.

Dean Ambrose's slide into favouritism to defeat WWE Intercontinental Champion - Seth Rollins - has continued.

The challenger is now at 4/6 after starting off at 11/10 eleven days ago.

Braun Strowman is now at 2/5 - down from 4/9 - to batter Baron Corbin in another TLC match. I have been told that there are reports that Braun Strowman is scheduled to be at this coming Monday's episode of Raw. This was surprising to read for two reasons. First, it'll be a week after having his elbow operated on and secondly - I thought the company would tease the fact that Baron Corbin might win the match via forfeit. To do this, Strowman shouldn't be on TV until the PPV.

This is an assumption on my part, but the decision to bring Strowman back on Monday might be to write him out for a longer period as TLC is only weeks away.

For what it's worth, Corbin is now at 7/4. He had been 13/8 for the past ten days or so.

A market that remains stationary is the one for the WWE Championship. Daniel Bryan is 1/4 while former champ - AJ Styles - is 11/4.

Prices correct as of 11:30AM GMT.
