Kambi Posts Upcoming MMC Match Markets And More

After missing this week's Mixed Match Challenge quarter final bouts, the oddsmakers from Kambi have installed markets for next week's quarters and Raw's semi-final.

The first quarter final market for next week's episode has Asuka and The Miz as 13/20 favourites to beat Naomi and Jimmy Uso (11/10).

Even though I have no intention of betting, it should be worth pointing out that the final will take place during the WWE Tables, Ladders and Chairs event. Asuka is one of the participants in the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship match, so I don't know whether they'll have her work two matches on the night. With that said, Jimmy Usos is in the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship match on the same card.

This is also the case with Charlotte Flair, who is teaming up with Jeff Hardy to take on Carmella and R-Truth in Tuesday's second quarter final match-up.

Hardy and Flair are EVS to their opponents' 7/10.

I don't know if it's wishful thinking on my part, but I have Carmella and R-Truth to win the tournament so I am hopeful that the bookies have got this one right. And it kind of makes sense considering the tournament winners will be rewarded with the thirtieth spot in their respective Royal Rumbles as well as a vacation.

Charlotte Flair is Kambi's favourite to win the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship at Tables, Ladders and Chair so - as champion - she won't be in the Royal Rumble should she be titleholder at the Rumble.

As per usual, the bookies are also taking 'Gender of Decision' bets where clients can predict the gender of the participants that are legal when the winning fall is determined. They have 'Male' favoured by 4/9 over Female at 6/4 in the Flair/Hardy .vs. Carmella/R-Truth match while the 'Male' is a short 11/25 fave over Female (8/5) for the first match I covered.

The semi-finalists of the Raw side of the bracketing are the teams of Alicia Fox and Jinder Mahal and Bayley and Finn Balor.

I also have a bet on Bayley and Balor to win the tournament, so it was concerning to see the bookies have Fox and Mahal to win the semi-final that's set to take place on Tuesday December 11th.

Alicia Fox and Jinder Mahal are 11/20 while Bayley and Balor are 5/4.

Despite not liking the thought of Fox and Mahal progressing to the final, it's understandable to see why the oddsmakers have priced them as favourites to beat Bayley and Finn Balor in the semis; it's because Finn Balor is already scheduled to wrestle on the night of the tournament when he faces Drew McIntyre on the Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2018 undercard.

Alicia Fox and Jinder Mahal are 7/5 second-favourites in Kambi's 'Tournament Winner' market. Carmella and R-Truth are at its head at 4/5. As noted, I had backed Carmella and R-Truth to be the last ones left before the tournament, so I welcome this image.

WWE Mixed Match Challenge Season 2 Winners Betting

What I also welcome is the idea that - of all the potential winners on this list - if the company is to do anything out of the vacation part of the prize, comedic skits involving Carmella and R-Truth on holiday makes it obvious to me that they are in with a strong chance of winning the season.

It could be wishful thinking again, though.
