Sky Bet Publishes Rumble 2020 Outrights

Earlier this week, I noted that the Kambi oddsmakers had priced up betting markets for both the men's and women's 2020 Royal Rumbles.

Another firm has now followed suit and published markets of its own.

Sky Bet's market for the male version of the Rumble has Braun Strowman as a 13/2 favourite. He's followed by current WWE Champion - Daniel Bryan - at 8/1. Joining Bryan as joint-second favourites are Drew McIntyre and Finn Balor.

In the post from Wednesday, I once again wrote about how I always seek out John Cena's odds in markets with title implications because I am sure WWE will one day run with a storyline where he chases for his seventeenth world title. I mentioned that I was not compelled to place a bet on the 6/1 that Kambi is offering because I wouldn't be surprised to see Cena's win take place on one of the Smackdown episodes once the series moves to Fox TV later this year.

With that said, I checked Sky Bet's price for a Cena Rumble 2020 win, as soon as I came across the market, and - at 16/1 - I thought I'd take the gamble. He's now down to 14s.

Another thing I wrote on Wednesday is how hard I thought it was to pick out a winner of the women's battle royal this far out. I have placed a small bet on one of the selections I came across today, though.

The favourite to win is Charlotte Flair, who came short this year. She's 9/4. The second-fave current WWE Raw Women's Champion - Ronda Rousey (6/1).

Following Rousey - at the top of the market - are Alexa Bliss and 2019 winner, Becky Lynch. Both are 13/2 each.

As for my bet - I've placed a speculative punt this far out on the current NXT Women's Champion, Shayna Baszler. She was 25/1 and the price was more appealing than the 8/1 I checked in on with Kambi on Wednesday.

Baszler has since dropped to 20/1.

The markets can be found along with all of the other WWE markets that are found under 'Wrestling' on the Sky Bet website.
