Sky Bet has installed a WrestleMania 35 betting market in which customers can place wagers on who they believe will wrestle Kurt Angle in what is being billed as his farewell match.
John Cena and The Undertaker are unsurprisingly at the top of the market.
As of the time of writing, Cena is a 5/4 favourite while Taker is 5/2.
Drew McIntyre, who I would guess is set to tangle with Roman Reigns, is next up at 8/1.
Other names listed are: Sami Zayn 9/1, Jason Jordan 10/1, Samoa Joe 10/1, Finn Balor 12/1, Chad Gable 14/1, EC3 16/1, Lars Sullivan 16/1 and Triple H who's 20/1.
As mentioned in other posts and comments following the news, I felt that John Cena would make for a good final opponent considering it was Angle who was in the ring when Cena made his WWE TV debut.
Cena was also the person who introduced Kurt Angle when the latter was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame a couple of years ago.
I haven't bet on Cena. However, I have placed a small speculative punt on Finn Balor.
It's a long shot, but I am trying to come up with reasons why they would have Bobby Lashley regain the Intercontinental Championship from Balor and to transition the title from Balor for the time being - in order to get Angle .vs. Balor - was one of them. At 12/1, I thought it's worth a small bet.
A conspicuous absence on this list is Baron Corbin who had been at odds with Angle dating back to last year. In this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer surmised that Corbin could be the opponent as it makes sense from storyline perspective.
