William Hill Releases AEW Double Or Nothing Markets

William Hill has opened a book for this coming weekend's All Elite Wrestling pay-per-view: Double or Nothing.

As far as I'm aware, William Hill is the first sportsbook to offer prices for the show. There are eight markets available on the website ranging from an outright winner list for the Casino Battle Royale all the way to the Kenny Omega versus Chris Jericho match.

I point out those two matches because the winners will compete for the AEW Heavyweight Championship sometime in the future.

As of the time of writing, Maxwell Jacob Friedman is a 5/1 fave to outlast the field to win the twenty-one man battle royal.

The Omega versus Jericho match has opened with the former an 8/11 favourite. A winning wager on Chris Jericho will pay out at odds of EVS.

Before the stipulation was announced last night, I was sure Jericho would win the match. I felt that - even though AEW is completely separate from New Japan Pro Wrestling - that the upcoming challenger for Kazuchika Okada's IWGP Heavyweight Champonship shouldn't lose here. On top of that, Jericho also lost to Omega in their previous meeting.

As a result of yesterday's news, I have decided to not bet on the match.

Another match on the card will see Cody compete against his brother, Dustin Rhodes. Cody is a short 1/6 to get the W while his opponent is 7/2.

AAA's World Tag Team Championship will be contested when The Young Bucks defend their straps against The Lucha Bros. The Bucks are 13/8 while a win for the former champs has been priced at 4/9.

The prices for the other markets are:

Aja Kong, Yuka Sakazaki and Emi Sakura 8/13
Hikaru Shida, Riho Abe and Ryo Mizunami 6/5

Best Friends (Barretta and Taylor) 6/5
Angelico and Jack Evans 8/13

Kip Sabian 6/4
Sammy Guevara 1/2

Socal Uncensored 17/20
Strong Hearts 17/20

2:05PM Update: There is also a market for the triple threat women's match. I missed it when I first scanned the page for markets. Britt Baker and Nyla Rose are 21/20 each and Kylie Rae is 6/1.

The market can be found under 'TV/Specials' on the William Hill Website.
