Kambi's Latest Observer Star Ratings Markets For MITB 2019

The oddsmakers from Kambi have added more Wrestling Observer star ratings markets to their coverage of tomorrow night's WWE Money in the Bank 2019 PPV.

As has become a regular fixture for WWE PPV weekends, the bookies are now offering customers the opportunity to wager on the match they believe will get the most stars in Dave Meltzer's review of the show. They can also punt on how many stars the highest rated match earns and also gamble on some head-to-head and proposition markets specific to Meltzer's star ratings.

In this post, I'll show you what is on offer and point out the early prices.

Highest Rated Match
The bookies have placed the WWE Universal Championship match at the top of their 'Highest Rated Match' market. It's 5/4.

Following behind Seth Rollins and AJ Styles (and per the rules - anyone else who could be added to the match!) is the 'Men MITB' at 7/4.

The other selections - and their odds - can be found in the image below.

Exact Star Rating
As has become a regular market over the years, Kambi is offering punters the opportunity to have a punt on the amount of stars that is given to the highest rated match in Dave Meltzer's review of the event. The options and their respective prices can be viewed below:

Head-to-Heads
The oddsmakers have also released a couple of head-to-head markets where clients can gamble on which of two opposing matches earns the most stars in next week's review of Money in the Bank.

In the first market, the customers can choose whether the favourite and second-favourite in the 'Highest Rated Match' market are up against each other. The Men's Money in the Bank market is 11/10, a winning wager on the Universal Championship contest will pay out at 19/20. If both matches earn the same amount of stars, the 'Same Star Rating' option would win at 19/10.

The second head-to-head has the Women's Money in the Bank ladder match up against the WWE Championship bout. The latter is a 17/20 favourite, the women's match is 11/10 and the 'Same Star Rating' selection is 43/20.

Props
The newest kind of Observer specials the bookies have recently been producing are proposition markets in which customers can bet 'Yes' or 'No' on certain things happening. As of this morning, there are five of these propositions available. The proposition titles and the odds for the 'Yes' or 'No' can be viewed in the table. However, the image does not contain the full wording, so I'll write a brief description for each underneath it.

Wrestling Observer Betting - Money in the Bank 2019 Prop Bets

Curtain Raiser
In this market, customers are wagering on whether the first match on the main card gets the most stars or not.

Joint Winners
This market asks customers to bet on or against two or more matches getting the most stars in Meltzer's review.

Main Event
Customers have a choice to bet whether the last match on the card is given the most stars in Dave's review of the event.

Title Match
The prop named 'Title Match' has the following wording 'A match valid for any Championship to be awarded the highest star rating'.

Women
The 'Women' prop asks 'Any match featuring only women as active participants to be awarded the highest star rating'. So, as it stands, you'll need either of Becky Lynch's matches or the women's Money in the Bank match to get the most stars in the review. Any matches that are added during the show do not count.

As per usual, I plan to publish a follow-up post next week to see which selections were the winning sides.
