Mysterio's US Championship Victory At MITB 2019 Wins 'Next Title To Change Hands' Market

Rey Mysterio's United States Championship win over Samoa Joe - at last night's WWE Money in the Bank - resulted in one of Sky Bet's newer betting markets to once again be settled.

Shortly after this year's WrestleMania, the firm began publishing a special named 'Next Title To Change Hands'. It allows customers to predict which championship switches ownership next.

Phase three opened on May 8th. As you can see in the table below,  the eventual winning selection of the 'United States Championship' was 10/1 at the start. It was cut to 6s within two days. It was eventually moved to 9/2 by May 11th and was still at this price when I last saw it available a week ago.

Next WWE Title To Change Hands - Third Phase

Yesterday's match placement meant that I missed out on my third consecutive win in these markets. I placed a small wager on the Smackdown Women's Championship when the market was reopened. Charlotte Flair's victory over Becky Lynch - for the strap - came later in the show.

The second favourite had a chance of being a potential winner as well.

If the reports are accurate, The IIconics were set to defend the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship against The Kabuki Warriors on the Kick Off but there was a change of plans.

Whether Asuka and Kairi Sane won match one is another thing, though.
