Next WWE Title To Change Hands Update For May 10th

There have been a couple of price adjustments made to Sky Bet's 'Next Title to Change Hands' market since I last wrote about it.

Next WWE Title To Change Hands Odds For May 10th

The first change was made sometime between Wednesday and yesterday evening as the 'Smackdown Women's Championship' selection was snipped from 15/2 into 13/2.

For what it's worth, I placed a small wager on the option when it was 15/2.

The reason why I picked it is because, when I looked down the list of titles - in the order they appeared on the website - the one that stood out, other than the Raw and Smackdown Tag Team Championships, was Becky Lynch's Smackdown title. As I've stated recently, I believe this will be the first strap Lynch drops when the time comes. I think they'll run with the 'Becky 2 Belts' thing for a little longer, though.

It is a gamble because the joint-favourites are - in my opinion - correctly positioned at the top of the list.

The Raw Tag Team Championship is currently in possession of Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins, who have a short shelf-life. The IIconics - who are currently holding the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship - have Asuka and Kairi Sane on their tails.

When I checked in earlier, another selection was showing shorter pricing than yesterday.

The US Championship option is now 6/1. This is down from 10/1.

On this week's TV, it was announced that Samoa Joe will defend this title against Rey Mysterio at Money in the Bank 2019 on May 19th. As I mentioned on Wednesday, Mysterio is 7/4 to win the match. I surmise the person - or persons - who backed the 'United States Championship' are hopeful that Mysterio wins the strap on May 19th and does so before any other title switches owners before the conclusion of Joe versus Mysterio.
