Extreme Rules 2019 Markets Published And More

The first two matches for WWE Extreme Rules 2019 were confirmed on last night's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw and Sky Bet has acted instantly by putting up betting markets for the bouts.

Both matches are tag team matches. The first will see Roman Reigns and The Undertaker take on Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre.

As of this morning, the firm has Reigns and Taker as 1/12 favourites. Their opponents are available at 6/1.

I have placed a small bet on McMahon and McIntyre at the 6/1. The only reason why is because it seems to me that Taker is coming back for more than just Extreme Rules. So - having a stab in the dark guess -  to get to SummerSlam, a loss for Reigns and Taker could set up Reigns .vs. McMahon and The Undertaker .vs. Drew McIntyre in singles matches for August.

The other tag bout scheduled for the July 14th will see WWE Universal Champion - Seth Rollins - team up with WWE Raw Women's Champion, Becky Lynch, in a mixed tag against Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans.

There are stipulations for this bout in that, if the babyfaces win, Corbin and Evans can no longer challenge the champions for their respective titles. However, should Corbin and Evans get the win, they'll become champions.

The bookmaker has put Rollins and Lynch as 2/9 favourites while their challengers are 3/1.

There's another market available for the PPV and it's a 'To Leave As Champion' special with the options to bet on 'Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch' at 1/4, 'Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans' at 5/1 and 'Any Other Combination Of Superstars' at 11/2.

I suppose the 'Any Other' selection might appeal to those who believe that Brock Lesnar will cash in his Money in the Bank contract for the Universal Championship, but - to me - it still seems that it's going to be against Kofi Kingston. I'd even gamble that it occurs during Extreme Rules following a brutal match against Samoa Joe.

Joe beat up Kingston on Raw so this is why I suspect Kingston .vs. Joe could be the WWE Championship match on July 14th.

For what it's worth, Sky Bet has 'Samoa Joe' at 50/1 to succeed Kingston in its 'WWE Champion After Kofi Kingston' market.

  1. I also think AJ Styles vs Ricochet will happen for the title since AJ won non title match

However I don't expect Styles to win US title since he is already a 2 time US champion and Ricochet title run shouldn't end too early especially when Mysterio returns in July

    What do you think David?

I can see a scenario where Gallows and Anderson unintentionally cost Styles at Extreme Rules.

    1. I replied to your comment from yesterday earlier today in the other thread while I was watching Raw.

I agree with you about Styles as I think Mysterio has a good chance of becoming the next US Champ after Ricochet.

Ricochet should have a reign first so definitely not Styles if they're going with him as the first challenger (which I think it's safe to presume that's what the ER match will be).

    2. Everybody are expecting Styles to turn heel but after watching Raw last night,I don't think he will turn heel. He basically proved he doesn't need the help of the club.

I think the end of this club storyline might be Gallows and Anderson become fed up with AJ Styles and turn on him by having Finn Balor attack AJ Styles and turn heel.

    3. I think he's turning. That's why I thought he was going to be the special guest referee.
