G1 Climax 29 Betting: Block Winners And Tournament Winner Markets

As mentioned in the most recent post, the oddsmakers from Kambi have published a ton of NJPW G1 Climax 29 specials. It's going to take a while for me to get through all of them, but I thought I'd share with you three of the outright markets.

The first two are the Block Winner specials and the third list contains the participants and their odds to be the overall winner of the tournament.

Block A Winner
Kota Ibushi is the favourite to win the A Block. In previous years, I would disagree because he was not a full member of the NJPW roster. However, he is now with the company on a long-term basis and I believe he has a good shot of getting to the final.

Block B Winner
Jay White and Tetsuya Naito are 6/4 joint-favourites to win the B Block. A few weeks ago, I was sure it would end up being a Ibushi .vs. Naito final but somebody I speak with about NJPW is of the opinion that Jay White could end up being this year's overall winner, so - to see White and Naito both at the top - is not surprising and does make me second guess myself.

Also, Naito and Ibushi have wrestled a few matches already this year and that kind of weakens my belief.

Tournament Winner
As you'll see below, they have Kota Ibushi as a 5/4 favourite to be crowned this year's winner. White is second-favourite at 5/2 and Naito is 3/1.

Kota Ibushi 5/4
Jay White 5/2
Tetsuya Naito 3/1
Kazuchika Okada 4/1
Hiroshi Tanahashi 5/1
Jon Moxley 5/1
Will Ospreay 15/2
KENTA 10/1
Shingo Takagi 20/1
Zack Sabre Jr. 25/1
Tomohiro Ishii 33/1
Jeff Cobb 40/1

EVIL 50/1
SANADA 50/1
Toru Yano 50/1
