Rollins Out Of Team Hogan And More

WWE has announced that Seth Rollins will no longer captain Team Hogan in the five-on-five match that is set for WWE Crown Jewel 2019.

This development is because Rollins is now scheduled to defend the WWE Universal Championship against Bray Wyatt in a falls count anywhere match on the October 31st card.

As of the time of writing, Sky Bet is the only firm with a market for the match as Kambi's was taken down before Monday's episode of Raw.

Sky Bet still has the Hogan group as favourites as it is 2/7 to Team Flair's 5/2. When I first wrote about it, Team Hogan was 1/3.

With Rollins out of the picture, the team now consists of Rusev and Ricochet, so three more names will be added before October 31st. 

I'm going to make a huge stab and guess that the new team captain will end up being Edge. 

There have been reports that Edge has been cleared to wrestle again (although Edge has denied these claims) and being part of Team Hogan would fit into the fact that he was a Hulk Hogan fan growing up (the same sort of thing they positioned Rollins as when he was announced as team captain) and also, Edge and Hogan were once tag team partners.

On the subject of tag teams, Sky Bet's outright winner market for the Tag Team World Cup has had a few changes made to it in the two days since I last covered it.

The New Day are now the favourites. Their price is now 7/4. On Wednesday, I noted that the team had dropped from 3/1 joint second-favourites into 2/1.

The Viking Raiders remain at 15/8 but are now second-faves after starting out at the top of the list.

AOP has been added to the market. Those looking to gamble on them can find the team at 4/1.
