It was for WrestleMania 36 and was titled 'Lasting Image'. In it, customers could gamble on who they believed would win the main event on April 5th 2020.
I kept track of the betting on the special whenever it was available. Everything I was able to capture over those months can be found by clicking on the image below.
As we all know by now, Drew McIntyre was the winner of the WrestleMania 36 main event. He did so by defeating Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship.
When the market was first installed a year ago, McIntyre was 20/1. By May 15th, his price has drifted out to 25/1 and stayed there until the first week of August when Kambi pushed him out to 40s. This was the best price customers would have found the eventual winner at. It's possible that at least one customer took up the 40/1 price as McIntyre was cut into 25/1 a couple of months later.
The market was readjusted in late-November with the eventual winner off the board. It remained absent right through to the middle of December when the market was suspended until last week.
McIntyre was a 23/20 favourite when the market was relaunched three days before his title win. His price declined numerous times along the way and, with twenty minutes to go before the start of the PPV on April 5th, the eventual winner had plummeted to 11/50.
