NJPW KOPW 2020 And Summer Struggle Odds Update For Tuesday Morning

There have been adjustments made to most of Kambi's New Japan Pro Wrestling markets that I wrote about IN THIS POST yesterday.

Kazuchika Okada's price to become the first provisional King of Pro Wrestling Champion, by winning a four-way on Saturday, have been taken down from 13/10 into 23/20.

As you'll see above - with Okada moving in, the bookmakers have increased the prices for five of the other selections that are in the running.

SANADA, whose price fell from 5/2 into 2/1 within the first day, remains a second-favourite.

Yujiro Takahashi, who will wrestle Okada for a place in Saturday's four-way, stays at 7/2.

A prop bet, which allows customers to gamble on or against Okada being victorious on Saturday, has also been changed following the adjustment in the outright winner market.

'Yes' - the option that is taken by those who believe Okada will triumph - is obviously at the same price as the outright market. However, those who believe another wrestler will become the provisional king can get 8/13 by taking 'No'.

In yesterday's post, I wrote that three out of the four match markets for Wednesday's tournament bouts were off the board. This is no longer the case.

The three markets that were absent are back online with the same pricing as before. They are:

No Finisher Match
Satoshi Kojima 27/25
El Desperado 4/6

2-Count Fall Match
Toru Yano 13/20
Bushi 11/10

1-on-3 Handicap Match
Kazuchika Okada 7/20
Yujiro Takahashi (plus Gedo and Jado) 19/10

The fourth match market - which was still available yesterday - has changed since I last wrote about it.

SANADA's price to beat SHO in the submission match is now down to 2/5. He had previously dropped from 3/4 into 1/2.

Markets for other matches on Saturday's Summer Struggle card have also been changed since yesterday's update.

There has been a flip in the market for the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship.

Titleholder - Hiromu Takahashi - was a 9/10 outsider initially, but is now a 4/5 favourite. His opponent, Taiji Ishimori was 4/5, but has now moved up to 9/10.

Shingo Takagi has dipped from 4/5 into 7/10 to successfully retain the NEVER Openweight Championship against Minoru Suzuki.

The challenger is now available at EVS. This is slightly up from 9/10.

The team of Taichi and Zack Sabre, Jr. have dropped from 13/20 into 11/20 for their IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championship defence against former titeholders, Kota Ibushi and Hiroshi Tanahashi.

Ibushi and Tanahashi are now 5/4. This is up from 11/10.

Tetsuya Naito's odds to regain the IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Championships against EVIL have once again been lowered.

In yesterday's post, I noted that Naito was 9/10 from even money. He is now down to 17/20.
