Cesaro's Royal Rumble Odds Drop

Cesaro's odds of winning next year's WWE Royal Rumble have fallen on the Betfair Sportsbook website.

The market, which opened earlier this week, is giving wrestling fans the opportunity to wager on the wrestler they believe will win the special battle royal that takes place on January 31st 2016.

The Swiss wrestler, who is currently in limbo following an injury to his tag team partner -Tyson Kidd, was originally given a price of 28/1 but is now down to 12/1.

My guess is the bets have come in on him from fans hoping he'll be given a renewed push as a singles wrestler now that the tag team appears to be on the shelf for the time being.

Cesaro winning the Royal Rumble would require a change of heart from Vince McMahon who was somewhat critical of the wrestler late last year when interviewed on 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin's podcast.

In other Betfair Royal Rumble odds changes, Seth Rollins has drifted out from 3/1 to 7/2.  Brock Lesnar is now the sole favourite at 3/1.

There has also been an increase in the prices for the least likely selections on the list. Fandango and 'Bubba Ray or D-Von Dudley' are now 66/1 from 50s, Mick Foley, Shawn Michaels, X-Pac and either of the New Age Outlaws have doubled from 50 to 100/1 while Shane or Vince McMahon has been put up to 250/1 - an increase from 100/1.

Betfair's WWE Royal Rumble odds can be found under 'USA' in the 'Special Bets' section of Betfair.com.
