WWE Betting & The July 4th Show From Tokyo

In a little under a fortnight, the WWE Network will air a live WWE event from Sumo Hall in Tokyo. I have asked around about the possibility of there being betting odds available for the event and the response hasn't been too positive just yet.

The main thing in the way appears to be the time of the event. The majority of sportsbooks that publish betting markets for WWE are based in Europe, meaning the event will kick-off in the late morning to early afternoon of the Saturday.

One person I asked noted that - when UFC is running shows in Asia - the sportsbooks don't get as much action as they would from events on other continents. With WWE wagering being more of a niche entity in contrast to MMA betting, it wouldn't surprise me if the management of these firms decide not to offer anything for July 4th.

The best advice I can give is to keep your expectations low.

Selfishly, I would love for at least one bookie to publish odds for the show. I'm going to be watching it live anyway, so it would be an added bonus to be able to bet on the matches beforehand.
