Lesnar .vs. Strowman Rumble Market Published

Sky Bet has published a betting market for the first singles match that has been confirmed for the 2019 WWE Royal Rumble PPV.

The match will see Braun Strowman challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship. The challenger earned the right to face Lesnar after beating Baron Corbin at Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2018 last night.

Strowman is currently a 4/5 favourite to get a decision over The Beast. A successful defence for  the titleholder will pay out at 10/11.

As of right now, I don't intend to bet on this match. In fact - I don't think I will end up having a bet on this one because I think it could go either way.

Strowman needs to get a win over Lesnar. However, the report that Brock Lesnar versus Seth Rollins is penciled in for WrestleMania 35 has me close to confident that it'll be the Universal Championship match. Therefore - Lesnar would have to retain the strap at the Rumble whether this is by winning straight up or losing by disqualification. I think it'll be the latter, but I cannot rule out outside interference costing Strowman and that's why I'm not having a punt.
