Bliss And Cross Are Women's Tag Team Champions After The IIconics

Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross won the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship on last night's edition of WWE Monday Night Raw and - as a result - will now be the winning selection in a betting market in which Sky Bet customers could have placed wagers on who would succeed The IIconics for the straps.

Bliss and Cross weren't runners in the market when it was first published in April. However, after they were eventually put together as 'friends' in WWE storylines, the wrestlers were inserted at 7/1 in Early June.

Their price fluctuated at points over the two months and went as low as 6/4 by August 2nd and remained at this price right up to just before the market closed, for what turned out to be the last time, at 11PM BST yesterday.

Asuka and Kairi Sane were 4/6 favourites when the market closed. They had drifted out from 1/6 when the eventual winners fell from 8/1 into the aforementioned 6/4.
