The topic of inside betting on WWE and TNA matches was brought up on this week's episode of the MLW Radio podcast.
The show - hosted by Mister Saint Laurent and Konnan - featured Disco Inferno as a guest. Konnan made mention of the WWE Battleground odds that were mentioned in a recent issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
It led to Disco reminiscing about times when he would get people to bet on the outcomes of TNA matches while he was an employee of the company.
'I had like eight of my friends back in Atlanta all set up with accounts on this thing and I was calling them and giving them the finishes to the matches and they made a fortune.'
He went on to tell the story about a bet that paid out on an outsider victory. The match in question was an Ultimate X Match which saw Michael Shane win whilst being an underdog with odds of +480.
The aforementioned bout took place in 2004 during the time when TNA ran weekly pay-per-views.
Disco and Konnan also suggested the possibility that they would be betting on the SummerSlam card with Disco teasing that he 'may or may not' have inside information.
It will be interesting to see if anything comes of this SummerSlam betting idea.
