Hulk Hogan A 16/1 Shot To Win I'm A Celebrity 2014

Hulk Hogan has been given odds of 16/1 on winning the next series of ITV's 'I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here'.

The television series, which features celebrities living within the Australian outback for three weeks as part of a reality contest, is set to return to television screens later this month. As contestants aren't announced until a day before the show launches, newspapers have been running regular columns speculating on the 2014 line-up.

Names such as Michelle Keegan, Tulisa Contostavlos, Roy Keane and Robbie Savage have done the rounds. However, the Daily Mirror's most recent addition to the list is the Hulkster. Claiming he appears on the producers' 'secret hitlist'.

Seeing that no name has been officially announced, doesn't that mean everyone is on a 'secret hitlist'?

With the name now being linked, PaddyPower.com has added Hogan to the I'm a Celebrity betting market that can be found in the TV Specials section of the website.

Even though the 16/1 price might appeal to wrestling fans hoping to see the former wrestler enter the jungle, it's worth noting that bets will still count even if he does not participate in the series.

A number of years ago, Dwayne Johnson was rumoured to be taking part in the 2012 edition of the hit show. His name even appeared in betting markets despite Johnson himself stating it was nothing more than a 'garbage rumor'.

In my opinion, the Hulk Hogan story is also a garbage rumour. That's not to say I wouldn't enjoy seeing him take part.

Odds taken from Paddy Power's TV Specials.
