When I checked in on the market yesterday morning, the Royal Rumble winner was available at -1,350 with the book. Then, on a final recording of the Saturday odds at 11:35pm, I noticed the price had shortened to -2,500.
It has now descended to -5,000.
It's too early to confidently claim that this movement has anything to do with smart money. The best I can suggest right now is that the bettor - or bettors - who placed the wagers on Roman Reigns in this market must have a strong conviction that Reigns will leave the PPV with the WrestleMania main event slot.
Another selection that I have been following closely is the 'Roman Reigns / No Contest' one. It has been -1,645 yesterday morning before going to -3,250 last night. It is now resting at -6,525.
As for the undercard, here's what I have noticed since 23:35 GMT yesterday.
Paige's odds have shortened from +280 to +200 in the WWE Divas Championship market. Nikki Bella remains a favourite at -280.
Bad News Barrett has dipped from a +180 underdog to +175. Intercontinental Championship challenger, Dean Ambrose is now -245.
Another outsider - John Cena - has been backed moving from +200 to +180 in the overnights. Rusev, who had been -280, is now -260.
The WWE Tag Team Championship odds have now settled back to a pick 'em. The Usos had been +120, but are now -120 along with Tyson Kidd & Cesaro.
There are still no markets open for the Goldust versus Stardust or Six-man tag team matches that were late additions to the card.
Odds correct as of 8am GMT. For the latest, check out the betting board at 5Dimes.com.
