WWE FastLane 2023 Betting Favourites

Here are the betting favourites for tonight's WWE FastLane event. 

• John Cena and LA Knight
• Seth Rollins
• The Judgement Day
• Iyo Sky
  

Each selection is ranked in order of strength using the betting markets that are available from the BetOnline website as the show was starting.

As mentioned in the previous post, the sportsbook suspended betting on the six-man tag team match. When I last saw it available, the odds for the LWO had lowered from +500 into +400. However, the team of Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits were favoured.

Sky Bet also closed its market with Lashley and the Profits as its favourite. However, the odds for the Latino World Order had also dipped there.

Whilst on the topic of prices dipping, I should add that - despite Iyo Sky closing as favourite - there were late adjustments made on Charlotte Flair to win the triple threat match for the WWE Women's Championship. 

FastLane '23 Betting Update For Early Saturday Evening

Here's a short update concerning the WWE FastLane 2023 markets from BetOnline.

The sportsbook has taken the market for the six-man tag team match off the board.

In this morning's post, I noted that the odds for the Latino World Order selection had dipped from +500 into +400 and I surmised it may have been due to an angle on Smackdown which ruled out Cruz del Toro and Joaquin Wilde from potentially teaming with Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar against Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits.

The segment ended with Mysterio telling Escobar and Zelina Vega he was going to make a phone call to somebody.

As for the four remaining markets, only one of them is showing differing odds from this morning's update.

Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa's price - to defeat John Cena and LA Knight - has dipped from +1,000 into +800 while their opponents' odds, as favourites, have moved from -5,000 to -3,200 in the other direction.

WWE FastLane '23 Odds For Saturday Morning

WWE's FastLane 2023 event takes place tonight and there are a selection of bookmakers with betting markets available for the show. In this post, I'll return to the BetOnline website and share with you some notes about how the odds have changed since I first began following each market.

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion
The market for Finn Balor and Damian Priest versus Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso was created earlier this week. At the time, the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions were -300 favourites over Rhodes and Uso.

As of this morning, The Judgement Day members are now -500 while their challengers have moved out from +200 to +300.

Six-Man Tag
The six-man tag team match will see Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits team up to take on Latino World Order members - Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar - plus a mystery partner. 

The important thing to note about this market is the mystery partner aspect because, following the angle on Smackdown which saw Mysterio inform Escobar he was going to make a phone call to someone (after Cruz del Toro and Joaquin Wilde were ruled out after being beaten up by the Profits), the odds for the LWO were snipped.

As you can see, in the table above, the LWO lowered from +500 into +400 overnight. Before that, the wagers appear to have sided with Lashley and the Street Profits because their odds fell from -500 into -1,000 within a couple of days of the market being made available to wager on. They have now risen up to -700.

The LWO had drifted from +300 to +500 in those early rounds of betting.

WWE Women's Championship
The market for the triple threat match for the WWE Women's Championship had been stationary for almost a week. That was until overnight when the odds for Charlotte Flair to get the W were shortened slightly.

Flair moved into +350 from +400 while her co-challenger - Asuka - moved up from +400 to +450.

Champion, Iyo Sky, has stayed a -300 favourite despite the other selections' moves.

The remaining two markets are the most pushed bouts for this event. Both markets have sided with the respective favourites.

John Cena and LA Knight .vs. Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa

I first began following the market for the John Cena and LA Knight .vs. Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa match a week ago. At that time, the selection for the babyface duo was priced at -500 to Uso and Sikoa's +300.

Within a couple of days, Cena and Knight had descended into -1,000 and, a day after that, plummeted further. This time into -5,000.

The Bloodline members are now +1,000. That is up from the earliest price I have of +300.

World Heavyweight Championship

The market for the last man standing match, which will have Seth Rollins defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura, is the oldest market on the board.

It opened in the latter part of September with Rollins at -200 to Nakamura's +150. From there, all adjustments have sided with the titleholder.

The last change I recorded came on Thursday evening when Rollins' price was moved into -500. A decision for Nakamura is currently priced at +300.

WWE Fastlane 2023 Betting Update For October 4

Here are some notes about the BetOnline markets for WWE Fastlane since I last wrote about them on Monday evening.

The bookmaker has now installed markets for another regular tag team match as well as for the six-man tag.

When I came across the market for the former, The Judgement Day selection was a -300 favourite over Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso (+200). Those same prices are available as of this evening.

There have been price adjustments made to the betting on the six-man.

Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits have fallen from -500 into -800 between last night and tonight. As a result of this, their opponents - The Latino World Order - has been pushed up from +300 to +450.

On Monday night, I pointed out that John Cena and LA Knight had dropped from -500 into -1,000 for their match against Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa.

Those odds were cut into -5,000 yesterday. This now places Uso and Sikoa up to +1,000. 

Seth Rollins remains a -400 favourite over Shinsuke Nakamura (+250) in the World Heavyweight Championship match market. All of the prices I've been able to follow can be viewed below:

The odds for Iyo Sky's WWE Women's Championship defence against Asuka and Charlotte Flair has remained at the same prices as when I first came across the market on September 30th. The titleholder is a -300 fave and her opponents are both available at +400 each.

WWE Fastlane '23 Odds For Monday Evening

A couple of WWE Fastlane '23 match markets from BetOnline have been adjusted since I last wrote about them.

On Saturday evening, I mentioned that the sportsbook had installed a market for the tag match which will see LA Knight team up with John Cena to battle Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa.

At the time I wrote about the market, Cena and Knight were -500 favourites. Their price has since dropped into -1,000.

As you can see, the team of Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa are now +500. That's up from +300.

The odds for Seth Rollins to successfully defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura have once again lowered.

The champ is now -400 to Nakamura's +250.

Iyo Sky remains at -300 for her WWE Women's Championship defence against Asuka (+400) and Charlotte Flair (+400).

2 New WWE Fastlane '23 Markets Released

BetOnline has published markets for the new WWE Fastlane 2023 matches that have been announced by WWE.

On last night's episode of WWE Smackdown, as expected, LA Knight was confirmed as John Cena's tag team partner for the match against Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso.

As of this evening, the sportsbook lists Cena and Knight as -500 favourites over the Bloodline members. A decision for Uso and Sikoa will pay out at odds of +300.

Also confirmed for next weekend's event is a triple threat match for Iyo Sky's WWE Women's Championship. She is a -300 fave while her opponents - Asuka and Charlotte Flair - are both available at +400 each.

In the most recent post, I noted that the market for Seth Rollins' World Heavyweight Championship defence against Shinsuke Nakamura.

As you can see, in the table above, Rollins odds to win the last man standing match have declined since Thursday's post. He had been backed from -200 into -250 by yesterday evening and has since dropped into -300.

The option to wager on Nakamura, which was +150 on Thursday, has now moved up to +200.

First Fastlane 2023 Market Published By BetOnline

Seth Rollins has opened as a favourite to once again beat Shinsuke Nakamura when they meet at next week's WWE FastLane event.

The BetOnline Sportsbook is currently listing the World Heavyweight Champion as a -200 favourite to beat Nakamura in their last man standing match.

A victory for the challenger will pay out at a price of +150.

This is the only market for the event currently available from the sportsbook. A 2-on-1 handicap match - which is being billed as John Cena .vs. Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa - is also being advertised by WWE. However, that could change depending on the status of LA Knight, who was initially set to team with Cena. Knight was unable to appear on last week's edition of Smackdown to set up the match after testing positive for Covid.

Observer Star Ratings O/U Results For WWE FastLane 2021

The main event of this past Sunday's WWE FastLane was given the most stars in Dave Meltzer's review of the event.

The bout, which saw Roman Reigns retain the WWE Universal Championship over Daniel Bryan, received four-and-a-half stars in Meltzer's report.

From a betting perspective, Reigns versus Bryan's rating turned out to be exactly what Kambi's oddsmakers predicted as they set the over/under line for the match at '4.5 Stars'. Therefore, any customers who may have backed the '4.5 Stars or More' option will soon have bets settled in their favour.

The next best match on the card - Drew McIntyre's no hold barred win over Sheamus - received a quarter of a star less than the Universal Title match. It had a line of '4 Stars', so those who may have punted on the over will also have winning wagers.

Below is a table showing the lines, stars and results of all the eligible matches from Sunday's PPV.

As you can see, the only other match that went over the line was the Kick Off meeting between WWE United States Champion - Riddle - and Mustafa Ali. Both men wrestled a three-and-a-quarter star match which went above the line of three stars.

The WWE Women's Tag Team Championship contest fell half-a-star below its line of 2.75, Seth Rollins versus Shinsuke Nakamura also fell half-a-star below its line of 3.75 while the biggest 'Under' result of the weekend was Big E's successful Intercontinental Championship retention over Apollo Crews which the reviewer felt was spoilt by its slow pace and peculiar finish. 

Going into the event, Kambi had the line for Big E versus Apollo Crews at 3.5 Stars. It received one-and-a-quarter stars.

WWE FastLane 2021 Betting Favourites

Here are the betting favourites for tonight's WWE FastLane PPV. The selections are not ranked in any order because I have used more than one sportsbook for this list.

There are conflicts with other markets.

5Dimes has Braun Strowman a favourite to beat Shane McMahon, but - when Sky Bet's market closed - McMahon was the fave. That is if the match takes place - there was an angle done during the Kick Off teasing that Shane had injured himself while training.

The other contrast in betting has occurred in markets for the intergender match. European oddsmakers like Kambi and Sky Bet have - or had - Randy Orton as a favourite, but 5Dimes lists him as the underdog against Alexa Bliss.

I have a feeling there will be a few upsets on this card due to it potentially being an angle-driven show.

5Dimes' FastLane 2021 Odds For Early Sunday Evening

Here are some odds notes regarding 5Dimes' markets for tonight's WWE FastLane 2021. 

• Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler are now -400 favourites to successfully retain the WWE Women's Championship against Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair. They were most recently -350. As a result, the challengers have moved out from +250 to +280
• WWE Intercontinental Champion, Big E, is now -210 from -180. His challenger - Apollo Crews - has drifted out to +160 from +140
• Drew McIntyre is now a -420 favourite to win the no holds barred match against Sheamus. He was most recently -350. The underdog is now at +300. This is up from +250
• Seth Rollins' price to win against Shinsuka Nakamura is now down to -350 after starting out at -285. Nakamura is now +250 from +205
• Riddle is -400 to successfully retain the US Title against Mustafa Ali. The champion had been -350 since yesterday evening. The challenger is now out to +280 from +250

The rest of the board is still showing the same prices as this morning's update. They are:

BetOnline's WWE FastLane 2021 Odds As Of 5PM GMT

With hours to go before BetOnline's markets for tonight's PPV are closed, I've taken a look over them to point out all of the adjustments that have been made since they were first installed.

Starting from the top we have..

Riddle .vs. Mustafa Ali
BetOnline's market opened yesterday with Riddle a -400 favourite to successfully retain the US Title. A decision for Mustafa Ali will pay out at odds of +250.

Seth Rollins .vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
The Rollins .vs. Nakamura market is another that was first released yesterday after it was set up on Friday's Smackdown. Just like the above, it has the favourite, Rollins, at -400 to Nakamura's +250.

Alexa Bliss .vs. Randy Orton
The market for this match was first installed on Thursday with Alexa Bliss a -200 favourite over Randy Orton (+150). Both selections remain available at those prices as of 5PM GMT today.

Big E .vs. Apollo Crews
Betting on the Intercontinental Championship meeting between Big E and his challenger, Apollo Crews, began on March 15th with the titleholder a -200 fave. Three days later, BetOnline lowered Big E into -300 while Apollo moved out from +150 to +200.

As of 5PM GMT, the market is still available. However, Crews' selection is locked. This would indicate that Crews has been backed. Big E remains -300.

Braun Strowman .vs. Shane McMahon
It's unclear whether this match is happening at all. For what it's worth, Strowman is still a -150 favourite and Shane McMahon is +110. Both selections have stalled at those prices since the market was installed on March 18th.

Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax .vs. Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks
The market for the WWE Women's Championship match opened with the champs at -300. Their challengers were +200. Sometime during Saturday, Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax dropped into -400 faves while Sasha and Bianca rose to +250.

Drew McIntyre .vs. Sheamus
The no holds barred market kicked off with Drew McIntyre a -550 fave over Sheamus (+325) on Thursday. By yesterday evening, McIntyre had dipped into -600 while Sheamus had risen to +350.

Roman Reigns .vs. Daniel Bryan
BetOnline's market for the WWE Universal Championship match was initially published on March 15th. At that time, the champ was a -2,500 fave. A decision in favour of his challenger - Daniel Bryan - was offered at +750, which was the top price I had seen him.

By Thursday, and as you'll be able to view in the table above, Daniel Bryan's price was reduced to +525 while Roman Reigns was moved up from the aforementioned -2,500 to -1,000. The following day, Bryan's price was cut once again. This time, he was placed at +400 while Reigns was moved to -700. 

The market remains stationary as of 5:00PM GMT.

News Notes About WrestleMania's Potential Main Event

There have been two news items I came across this weekend that might be worth knowing about ahead of tonight's WWE FastLane 2021 PPV.

Firstly, on this morning's edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned that he asked a source very recently whether the WrestleMania 37 match of Roman Reigns versus Edge was still on for the event.

Meltzer was informed that the singles match is still on the cards, so that would - or rather could - contradict the idea myself, and others, are concluding from watching the Smackdown storyline in that the Mania match could be a triple threat with Daniel Bryan added to the mix.

I have written about the triple threat extensively recently due to Sky Bet having markets available which allow customers to gamble on the match taking place on WrestleMania weekend and also to be the headline bout of night two.

The second news item, which might relate to the triple threat theory, is - on yesterday's edition of WWE Talking Smack - Paul Heyman gave out one of his 'spoilers' by claiming that the main event as we know it (ie Reigns .vs. Edge) will not take place.

Heyman went on to say that the match will not take place because WWE will be in need of a new challenger because Edge will pull out from contention after being there at ringside to witness Daniel Bryan's beating at the hands of Roman Reigns.

The spoiler thing makes me hold on to the hope that the main event - as we're supposed to know it right now - will change to the match many of us are speculating: Roman Reigns .vs. Edge .vs. Daniel Bryan.

Sky Bet's market is currently unavailable. I last wrote about it a couple of days ago. Below is a table showing how the betting had gone up to Friday.

WWE FastLane 2021 Betting Odds For Sunday Morning

I have just visited the 5Dimes Sportsbook's website to see how the betting has gone - so far - for tonight's WWE FastLane 2021 PPV. In this post, I'll run through all of 5Dimes markets and point out how the betting has gone both there and in markets that have been priced up by European sportsbooks like Kambi and Sky Bet.

Riddle .vs. Mustafa Ali

The market for the US Championship match was first installed yesterday. It is unchanged from 5:45PM GMT with Riddle a -350 favourite to get the decision over Mustafa Ali (+250).

To contrast this market with one based in Europe, I have chosen to look at the one Kambi has had since at least yesterday morning.

As you can see above, the market that has been priced up here in Europe started with Riddle as a 7/20 favourite to get the W. His price dropped into 1/4 within four hours and was then down into 1/5 (-500 US) by yesterday evening.

Riddle remains at that price as of this morning.

Shinsuke Nakamura .vs. Seth Rollins

Another market that 5Dimes released early yesterday evening was the one for the match between Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura.

Just like with the US Championship, 5Dimes has not changed the market. Seth Rollins is -285 over the +205 for Nakamura.

Kambi's market for the match was published yesterday morning. You'll see below that the punters backed Rollins from the early price of 11/20 all the way down to 1/5 by 11:00PM GMT last night.

As a result of Rollins' price descending, the oddsmakers have pushed Shinsuke Nakamura out to 3/1.

Braun Strowman .vs. Shane McMahon

Another market that was released yesterday, and has not been adjusted since I started following it, is the one for Braun Strowman versus Shane McMahon.

5Dimes lists Strowman as a -145 fave over McMahon's +105.

Kambi's market was published on Wednesday. However, when the match was pulled from advertising, the bookmakers took it off the board. Sky Bet's market - which opened a day earlier than Kambi's, and remained open even when there was doubt over it being on the card, would be a fairer example to see how betting has been going.

As you'll see - Strowman started off as the favourite at 1/2 while his opponent was 6/4. All of the wagering that I've followed has been on the side of McMahon as his price declined right down into favouritism three days ago.

Alexa Bliss .vs. Randy Orton

5Dimes' market for Alexa Bliss versus Randy Orton was released on Thursday with the former a -190 favourite over the +150 for Orton.

By yesterday afternoon, Bliss' price had lowered into -210 while Orton's was moved up to +160.

Sky Bet's market was released on Thursday with Bliss at 1/2 and Orton at 6/4 - fairly close to where they currently are at 5Dimes today. However, as you'll see below, Sky Bet's customers have been backing Orton for the W because his price has declined to 5/6 placing both selections at a 5/6 pick 'em.

Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax .vs. Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair

5Dimes' market for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship match has been available since Thursday. I started following with the champs as -230 favourites while Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair were +170.

Baszler and Jax were down to -350 by yesterday afternoon and their challengers were out to +250. Both selections remain at those respective prices.

In contrast, Kambi's market was initially made available on March 13th and has been very active.

The two selections started off level at 17/20 apiece.

Most of the adjustments have been in favour of the titleholders. However, the most recent - which occurred overnight - saw Sasha and Bianca dip from 3/1 into 5/2.

Big E .vs. Apollo Crews

5Dimes' market for the Intercontinental Championship match was published on Thursday with Big E a -155 favourite to successfully retain the strap. There has been a slight back-and-forth in regards to adjustments with the champion and challenger seemingly being backed at certain stages.

As you can see below, the first move went the way of Big E as his price was lowered into -275 however, the next price change had Crews lowered into +155 from +195.

The most recent 5Dimes adjustment saw the challenger lowered into +140 from +160 while Big E was pushed up to -180 from -210.

At Sky Bet, all of the adjustments I have recorded have gone the way of the champ. You'll see below that Big E started off as an 8/13 fave on Saturday March 13th, was down to 1/2 a day later and was then cut into 2/5 on Wednesday.

To add another comparison, Kambi's market has also had most of the price drops in favour of the champ. However, the two most recent changes have sided with the challenger. 

Drew McIntyre .vs. Sheamus

5Dimes' market for the no holds barred match featuring Drew McIntyre and Sheamus was first installed on Thursday with McIntyre a -500 favourite over the +334 for Sheamus.

The first wave of interested sided with Sheamus as his price was lowered into +245 within a day and was then down to +175 by 9:30AM GMT yesterday morning.

Saturday punting saw McIntyre cut from -245 into -420 while his rival jumped to +300. However, a couple of hours later, I noticed that Sheamus had lowered to +250 while his opponent was placed at -350.

Both selections have stayed at those respective prices as of 10:00AM GMT today.

Kambi's market had McIntyre as a 2/7 favourite to Sheamus' 9/4 on Wednesday. 

The moves have been one sided in favour of McIntyre. His price has declined into 1/8 while Sheamus has moved to 4/1.

Sky Bet opened with Drew McIntyre at 1/5 on Tuesday. Sheamus was the first selection of the two to lower as he was placed at 11/4 from 10/3 within half an hour of me finding the market. 

As you'll see, the selections had returned to their earliest prices by Thursday evening, but the most recent drop went the way of Sheamus as he has been placed at 3/1 while McIntyre has slightly been moved up to 2/9.

Roman Reigns .vs. Daniel Bryan

5Dimes' market for the WWE Universal Championship match initially had Roman Reigns as a -475 favourite when I came across it on Thursday night. The challenger - Daniel Bryan - started at +325, but declined to +245 by the following day. 

Hours after that, 5Dimes slashed Reigns' price into -900 and pushed Bryan up to +500. By yesterday morning, Bryan's odds had dipped into +340 with the favourite moving from the aforementioned -900 to -510. 

Reigns was lowered into -600 by 5:45PM GMT yesterday while Bryan moved to +400. 

Both selections remain at those prices as of this morning.

Sky Bet's market has been available since March 13th. It opened with the champion as a very short 1/16 favourite over the 7/1 for Bryan.

The only time Roman Reigns' price has been lowered was three days ago when he fell into 1/6 from 1/3. Other than that, it has been Bryan all the way.

Daniel Bryan kicked off at 6/1 when Kambi's market for the match was opened a little over a week ago. He was lowered into 11/2 later that day.

The market was adjusted on Sunday March 14th with Bryan lowered to 7/2. He remains at that price as of this morning.

Here are some notes about new WWE markets from the oddsmakers from Kambi.

On last night's Smackdown, and on social media, more matches for Sunday's PPV were confirmed. Kambi has installed prices for those contest as well as one for the Alexa Bliss .vs. Randy Orton match. Here are the prices as of this morning.

Wrestling Observer star ratings over/under lines have been published for the two new contests. They are:

Randy Orton .vs. Alexa Bliss does not have an O/U line.

Braun Strowman .vs. Shane McMahon Back On The Board
WWE had stopped promoting the Braun Strowman versus Shane McMahon on its website, so Kambi took markets for the match down. However, during Smackdown, the company once again advertised the contest so Kambi has republished those markets.

As of this morning, Braun Strowman remains a favourite. However, Shane McMahon's price is shorter than it was when the market was last available. 

New WrestleMania 37 Markets

New WrestleMania 37 markets have been installed.

A Bet On The Tag Match

I have had a punt on one of Kambi's markets for the potential Bad Bunny and Damian Priest .vs. The Miz and John Morrison match.

It's the market in which customers can bet on the 'Participant to be involved in match decision' special and will pay out on who is/are legal when the match result is determined.

Bad Bunny is 1/3 and his partner is 2/1 to be the legal man when the match reaches it conclusion. However, I have had a punt on a wrestler on the opposing team.

The bookies have John Morrison as the favourite, but - to me - it makes more sense for The Miz to take the fall.

WWE is looking for media attention by having Bad Bunny involved in the match. It seems obvious to me that they'll have him score the decision over a person who might be known to followers of entertainment news due to his reality series career: The Miz.

Kambi had Miz at 7/4 to be the legal man when the winners and losers are determined. The selection is now down to 5/4. 

Money in the Bank Favourites

Kambi has published markets for this year's Money in the Bank matches. As of this morning, the favourites are Keith Lee (6/1) and Rhea Ripley (5/2) respectively.

5Dimes' WWE FastLane 2021 Odds

The 5Dimes Sportsbook has published markets for this weekend's WWE FastLane 2021 PPV.

Customers can gamble on all of the matches that have so far been announced for the show.

Alexa Bliss has been installed as a -190 favourite to get a decision against Randy Orton (+150).

Drew McIntyre is favoured to beat Sheamus when they meet. The fave is -500 and Sheamus is +334.

Big E is -155 to retain his WWE Intercontinental Championship with a win over Apollo Crews (+115).

Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks are +170 to get a win over the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax (-230).

Finally, the WWE Universal Championship market lists Daniel Bryan as a +325 underdog for his challenge against Roman Reigns. A win for the champ will pay out at odds of -475.

The oddsmakers have placed Alexa Bliss as a 1/2 favourite to beat Randy Orton (6/4) on Sunday's PPV. Interestingly, as I pointed out in the most recent post, 

Reigns Moves In
Ever since the market for Roman Reigns versus Daniel Bryan was published, the price for a Daniel Bryan win had been on a descent. On my previous visit, I noticed that Bryan was down to 9/4 (I started following his price drop from 7/1) and Reigns was a 1/3 favourite (started at 1/16). 

As of right now, Reigns is down to 1/6 with Bryan moved up to 7/2.

Shane McMahon Becomes Favourite Over Strowman In FastLane Betting

The market for the Shane McMahon versus Braun Strowman match has flipped with McMahon now the betting favourite to get the W over Strowman.

As you can see, McMahon is now at 4/5 and Strowman is now at 10/11. When I last checked in, both selections had a reversal of those prices.

McMahon was 6/4 and Strowman was 1/2 when I first began to follow the betting for this match on Tuesday.

Mania Tag Match Market Published
On this week's WWE Raw, AJ Styles and Omos challenged The New Day to a WWE Raw Tag Team Championship match for WrestleMania.
Sky Bet has published a market for the match with the challengers 1/2 favourites. A win for The New Day will pay out at 6/4.

New FastLane 2021 Markets From BetOnline

BetOnline has added more WWE FastLane 2021 match markets to its coverage of this weekend's PPV.

Alexa Bliss is currently a -200 favourite to beat Randy Orton (+200), Braun Stowman is -150 to go over Shane McMahon (+110) and Drew McIntyre is -550 to get a decision against Sheamus (+325).

A few days ago, I noted that the company had published markets for the earliest announced matches for the card. A few changes made to a couple of them.

Big E's price to successfully retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Apollo Crews is now down to -300, from -200. 

A decision in favour of Crews will now pay out out at +200. This is up from +150.

The WWE Universal Championship market now lists Daniel Bryan as a +525 underdog. His odds were initially at a higher +750. 

As a result, Roman Reigns has moved up from -2,500 to -1,000.

Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax remain -300 faves to win their WWE Women's Tag Team Championship defence against Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair (+200).

Kambi Publishes More Markets For WWE FastLane 2021

Kambi's traders have published markets for two of the latest matches that have been added to the card for this Sunday's WWE FastLane.

They have installed Braun Strowman as a slight favourite over Shane McMahon. A winning punt on Strowman will pay out at 4/5 while McMahon backers are being offered 9/10.

Drew McIntyre is 2/7 for his meeting with Sheamus (9/4).

Wrestling Observer Star Ratings over/under markets have also been priced up for the two contests. 

The line for Strowman .vs. McMahon has been set at two stars while McIntyre versus Sheamus has a line of four stars.

2 New FastLane 2021 Markets From Sky Bet

Markets for a couple of new matches, that have been added to the card for this weekend's WWE FastLane PPV, have been added to Sky Bet's website.

In the first new market, the bookmakers have installed Drew McIntyre as a favourite to beat his nemesis, Sheamus.

As you can see, McIntyre was at 1/5. However, his price was pushed up to 1/4 due to Sheamus' odds having been lowered into 11/4 from 10/3.

I was initially surprised to see Sheamus' price dip. 

With McIntyre set to face WWE Champion - Bobby Lashley - at WrestleMania 37, I thought opening as a short favourite was a fair assessment by the bookmakers. 

In my opinion, the number one contender to the WWE Championship should be positioned as that. And that should mean to get the W before he moves to his title challenge.

When I tried to reason why Sheamus' price had lowered, I came up with some conclusions.

Firstly, the punter - or punters - may have reacted to the main event of last night's Raw which saw Sheamus lose to Bobby Lashley. They may be of the opinion that the Irishman will get a win over McIntyre on Sunday to make up for it.

In my opinion, last night's result was more about a visual challenge for Drew McIntyre, He has seen Lashley beat Sheamus, so it's now up to McIntyre to match his WrestleMania opponent by also getting a decision over Sheamus.

Another reason I came up with, in regards to guessing why Sheamus' price has lowered, is down to the announcement of the Mania match. 

If the plan is for McIntyre to win against Sheamus, WWE could have had a stipulation to determine a number one contender for Bobby Lashley. Not doing so may have prompted the gambler to have a punt on the underdog.

The second market is for the Braun Strowman versus Shane McMahon meeting.

Once again, the underdog's price has lowered. However, I believe that one is down to me because I've backed Shane McMahon to win.

My reasoning is because - even though Strowman has been embarrassed by Shane in the TVs leading up to the PPV - I believe that, for this 'feud' to continue, McMahon has to upset Strowman. One way I think it could go is to have Adam Pearce help his boss.

With that said, my theory only works if the plan is to continue with Shane McMahon and/or Adam Pearce as Strowman's antagonist/s beyond Sunday.

McMahon is currently 5/4 after starting off at 6/4. A win for Braun Strowman gamblers will now pay out at odds of 4/7. This is up slightly from 1/2.

BetOnline Publishes 4 New WWE Match Markets

BetOnline has added four new WWE markets to its wrestling page. Three are for this weekend's WWE FastLane 2021 PPV and one is for a match that is scheduled for WrestleMania 37 weekend.

The first FastLane market that's on the board is for the WWE Intercontinental Championship match. The titleholder, Big E, is a -200 favourite to get a decision over his challenger - Apollo Crews.

A win for Crews will pay out at odds of +150.

The WWE Universal Title market lists Roman Reigns as a short -2,500 favourite over Daniel Bryan (+750).

+750 is the best price I have seen for the challenger out of all of the other sportsbooks that have priced up markets so far. As noted in other posts, I have backed Bryan everywhere because I feel that - if he is going to be inserted into the Reigns/Edge title match for WrestleMania 37 in some way - he would have to at least get a disqualification win over Reigns on Sunday to make a storyline reason for a triple threat (if that is the direction, of course).

Another title match set for Sunday will see Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax defend their WWE Women's Tag Team Championship as -300 faves against the team of Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair (+200).

The tag title challengers will compete against each other at WrestleMania 37 with Sasha Banks defending her WWE Smackdown Women's Championship against the Royal Rumble winner.

As of this evening, the market for their Mania meeting has Bianca Belair as a -300 favourite while the champ is +200.

The new Mania match market joins one for Roman Reigns versus Edge that has been available since late-February.

Both men started off at -120 pick 'ems. However, the betting has gone the way in favour of the Universal Champion because Reigns dropped into -140, from -130, sometime before 6:00PM GMT on March 3rd.

With the champ getting the, if you pardon the pun - edge, his challenger has risen to +100.
