The Vaudevillains have been added to a WWE Payback 2016 betting market at bwin.com.
In a post published yesterday, I noted that the sportsbook had opened two markets for the May 1st pay-per-view ahead of matches being confirmed. In these markets, customers have a choice of a handful of selections to either win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match or WWE World Tag Team Championship match on the night.
The team was brought up to the main roster from NXT on this week's edition of Smackdown. I requested the duo be added to the market mainly to have a speculative punt and because I was curious to see what odds they would be installed at.
They have opened at 7/1.
There's a high chance that they will not be the pair to face The New Day in three weeks, let alone win the match. However, I like the fact that a few of the teams on the list are possibly going in different directions (League of Nations and Wyatts plus Dudleys and Ezo & Cass seem to be going off in feuds). Another thing working in favour is that The Vaudevillains have been brought in as heels. Whether this means they're going directly into a program with the top babyface act right now is another thing, though.
We'll soon find out when a tag title match is confirmed. With the event being in a few weeks, it's safe to surmise that we'll get a better idea by Monday.
