BetOnline Publishes MITB Cash-In Odds For WWE Payback '23

In a follow-up to the most recent post, the oddsmakers from BetOnline have added one more specials market to its coverage of WWE Payback 2023.

They are offering +400 for Damian Priest to cash-in his Money in the Bank briefcase during tonight's event.

Damian Priest

The proposition market which asks whether JD McDonagh will interfere in the Undisputed Tag Team Championship match has also been adjusted.

In the most recent post, I noted that BetOnline was offering the 'Yes' at +100 for McDonagh to cause interference in the Steel City Street Fight. Those odds have now fallen into -150.

Those who don't think McDonagh will be involved in the tag match can now get odds of +110 for 'No'. It was previously a -140 favourite.

WWE Payback '23 Odds As Of 5PM BST

Here are all of the match odds price adjustments I've been able to record for tonight's WWE Payback event.

As well as looking at the match markets, I'll also point out some props/specials that have been installed today.

LA Knight .vs. The Miz
When I first came across the market for LA Knight .vs. The Miz, BetOnline listed Knight as a -5,000 favourite to The Miz's +1,000.

A couple of days after that, I noticed Miz's odds had been reduced to +800 with Knight's price, still as a fave, to -2,500. Then, a little over a day later, Knight and Miz were back to where they were at the start.

WWE Payback 2023 Betting

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship
The market for the Steel City Street Fight had Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions - Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn - as the favourites over the selection named 'The Judgment Day', which is being advertised as Finn Balor and Damian Priest.

WWE Payback 2023 Betting

Within a couple of days of first taking note of the odds, the challengers' odds were snipped from +500 into +400 while those or Owens and Zayn moved up from -1,000 to -700.

Sometime today, BetOnline installed a proposition market for this match. It asks whether JD McDonagh will 'interfere during Judgment Day match'. Surprisingly, 'Yes' is at +100 and 'No' is a -140 favoured.

The last few weeks of TV leads one to the opinion that 'Yes' should be considered the favourite in this prop.

WWE United States Championship
On the topic of props and The Judgment Day, there is a special available which asks whether Dominik Mysterio will interfere 'on his dad's match'. The only offer is 'Yes' at +400 and I believe, even at that price, it's too low because I don't see why they would have Dominik interfere in this match because both Dominik and Rey are on separate brands and moving in different directions right now (yes, they were on opposing brands before their WrestleMania match, but this is different because it looks like Rey will eventually have a split/feud with Santos Escobar).

As for the match odds, Rey has been a -500 favourite to beat Austin Theory (+300) since the market opened. However, it's worth noting that - when I checked in this morning - Theory was off the board.

WWE Payback 2023 Betting

The challenger has since been reinserted at the +300 he had been earlier this week.

Women's World Championship
The Women's World Championship market had titleholder, Rhea Ripley, as a -700 fave on August 23rd. She has since plummeted into -5,000.

As a result of Ripley's drop, the challenger - Raquel Rodriquez - has been pushed out from +400 to +1,000.

WWE Payback 2023 Betting

Becky Lynch .vs. Trish Stratus
Becky Lynch's price to get a win over Trish Stratus, inside a steel cage, was at -1,000 on August 23rd. It was moved into -2,000 sometime between 8:30AM and 5:00PM today.

A victory for Stratus will now pay out at +700. This is up from the earlier +500.

World Heavyweight Championship
The first adjustments I recorded in the match for Seth Rollins' World Heavyweight Championship defence against Shinsuke Nakamura saw the challenger dip from +425 into +400. However, after that, every other price drop has sided with the titleholder.

WWE Payback 2023 Betting

Seth Rollins is currently -1,250 to go over in this one. He was -800 when BetOnline first emailed me the prices. However, his price was -700 by the time I accessed the website. His odds have descended since August 28th and has been at his current price for the past couple of days.

Other Specials
As noted above, there are props and specials available for the show. Here are the other specials alongside the Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh markets.

Jimmy Uso to appear during the show +500
Roman Reigns to appear during the show +900
John Cena to have a match during the show +300

Another WWE Payback '23 Market Published

Another match market for WWE Payback 2023 has been published by BetOnline.

The latest bout to be added to this Saturday's card is a Steel City Street Fight for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.

Current titleholders, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are -1,000 favourites. A decision for 'The Judgment Day' (Finn Balor and Damian Priest) will pay out at a price of +500.

A couple of markets have changed since yesterday's update. Both siding with the favourite.

Rhea Ripley, who was most recently -2,000 to successfully retain the Women's World Championship against Raquel Rodriquez, is now -5,000.

WWE Payback 2023 Betting

The challenger is +1,000. That's up from the most recent number of +700.

Seth Rollins is now -1,000 to get a decision over Shinsuke Nakamura in the World Heavyweight Championship match.

WWE Payback 2023 Betting

Nakamura is +500 from +450.

The prices for the rest of the card are:

Becky Lynch -1,000
Trish Stratus +500

LA Knight -5,000

2 More Payback '23 Markets From BetOnline

A couple of new WWE Payback 2023 markets have been published since I last wrote about BetOnline's coverage of this week's event.

LA Knight is currently a -5,000 favourite to beat The Miz (+1,000) in their contest while WWE United States Champion, Rey Mysterio, is -500 for his defence against previous titleholder, Austin Theory (+300).

There have been changes to two of the three markets that were published last week.

Rhea Ripley is now a -2,000 favourite to successfully retain the Women's World Championship against Raquel Rodriquez (+700).

Ripley was -700 to -800 on Wednesday.

WWE Payback 2023 Betting

The World Heavyweight Championship market currently has Seth Rollins at -800 to the +400 for Shinsuke Nakamura.

WWE Payback 2023 Betting

Becky Lynch remains at -1,000 over Trish Stratus (+500) in betting for their steel cage match.

BetOnline Installs WWE Payback 2023 Markets

BetOnline has published three match markets for WWE Payback 2023.

The sports betting firm emailed me at 8:10PM BST with the prices for all of the matches. However, when I checked the website thirty-five minutes later, a couple of the markets had differing prices.

The first market with contrasting odds to the email is the one for Rhea Ripley's Women's World Championship defence against Raquel Rodriquez.

Ripley was listed as a -700 favourite in the email. However, as of the time of writing, BetOnline's website has her at -800.

As a result, Raquel Rodriquez has moved to +425 but was initially at +400.

The second market with contrasting odds within the last hour is for the World Heavyweight Championship match.

As you can see, Shinsuke Nakamura's price to beat Seth Rollins was +425 in the email from BetOnline, but is now at +400.

The titleholder is favoured. His odds have seemingly moved up from -800 to -700, though.

The only market still showing the same odds in the email and on the website is for the cage match between Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus.

BetOnline has Lynch as a -1,000 favourite while Stratus is +500.

WWE Payback is set to take place from Pittsburgh on Saturday September 2nd.

Mysterios .vs. Rollins/Murphy Wins Match Of The Night At Payback 2020 And More

The Rey and Dominik Mysterio versus Seth Rollins and Murphy tag team match, from this past Sunday's WWE Payback 2020 PPV, was given the most stars in Dave Meltzer's review of the show.

The bout, which saw the babyfaces score a win over Rollins and Murphy, was given three-and-a-half stars in the issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that was released this morning.

With all of the matches now having been given star ratings, the oddsmakers from Kambi will now settle all of the Observer-themed markets that were available for the PPV.

Firstly, the 'Exact Star Rating of the Highest Rated Match' market will be graded with 'Under 4 Stars' winning as a 4/5 favourite.

Its opposite selection - '4 Stars or More', which was 9/10 - will now obviously be graded as a loser.

The Mysterios versus Rollins and Murphy was up against Keith Lee versus Randy Orton in a head-to-head special in which customers could guess which - of the two bouts - would receive the most stars.

As you'll see, the winning contest was a 3/4 favourite over the 13/10 for Lee .vs. Orton and the 2/1 which was offered for those who may have wanted to punt on both matches receiving the 'Same Star Rating'.

WWE Payback 2020 - Observer Head to Head

The winning selection was one-and-a-quarter stars better than Lee .vs. Orton.

Another tag match, this one the for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship, was the winning selection in a second head-to-head.

Bayley and Sasha Banks' title loss to Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax had three stars to the two-and-three-quarters that was given to the WWE Universal Championship contest won by Roman Reigns.

Going by the betting, it would appear that the consensus felt that the triple threat match would win this matchbet as the odds fell from EVS into 1/3 in the days leading up to the event.

The eventual winner - which also started off at even money - was moved up to 5/2 a day before the show and remained at that price right through to Sunday night.

WWE Payback 2020 - Observer Head to Head

A couple of proposition markets will also be graded with 'No' the winning selections in both.

WWE Payback 2020 Observer Prop Bet Results

In 'Joint Winners', Kambi asked customers whether two - or more - matches will receive the highest number of stars in Dave Meltzer's review.

The winning selection was a 2/5 favourite.

Kambi's 13/20 favourite will be graded the winner in the market titled 'Margin Of Victory'. In it, the oddsmakers asked whether there would be at least a half-star difference between the top match and the one that came second.

The closest match to the Mysterios versus Rollins and Murphy was the Big E versus Sheamus meeting. It received a quarter of a star less than the tag outing.

All of the matches had Over/Under lines. Here are the results along with a couple of notes.

WWE Payback 2020 Wrestling Observer Star Ratings O/U Results

* The line for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship match was lowered from 3.25 into 3.00. Those that took the 'Under 3.25 Stars' will have winning wagers while those who might have bet later, and took the '3 Stars or More', will have the winning wager

** Keith Lee .vs. Randy Orton had a line of four stars initially, but the line was changed to 3.75. The 'Under' will win

Reigns Dips Again At BetOnline

BetOnline has once again shortened Roman Reigns' odds to win the WWE Universal Championship triple threat match at tonight's WWE Payback 2020 PPV.

The returning star was previously a -250 favourite, but is now down to -300 with the firm.

With Reigns' odds sliding in again, the bookies have moved Braun Strowman up from +500 to +1,000 but have kept early favourite, and current champion - Bray Wyatt, at +150.

Kambi Publishes Markets For Latest Payback Matches

Kambi's oddsmakers have published markets for the new additions to the WWE Payback 2020 lineup.

The team of Riott and Morgan are 2/7 faves. Their opponents are 9/4.

The other match market is for Big E .vs. Sheamus.

Big E has been installed as a 1/5 favourite. His opponent is 3/1.

The bookmakers have also created Wrestling Observer star ratings over/under markets for the two bouts.

The line for the pre-show match is one-and-three-quarters while the Big E/Sheamus contest has a line of three stars.

5Dimes' WWE Payback 2020 Odds For Early Sunday Evening

I have just visited the 5Dimes Sportsbook's WWE Payback 2020 markets to see if there have been any adjustments made since I last covered them earlier today.

There have been a few changes. I'll share all of my findings below.

Both wrestlers remain as they were when I first came across the market last night. Big E is a -500 favourite and Sheamus is +334.

Lee And Mysterios Back Up At BetOnline

In the most recent post, I mentioned that Keith Lee and The Mysterios were taken off the board in BetOnline's WWE Payback 2020 markets.

Reigns' BetOnline Odds Drop Again Plus More

Roman Reigns' odds to overcome Braun Strowman and WWE Universal Champion - Bray Wyatt - in a triple threat match at Payback have once again declined with the BetOnline Sportsbook.

In a post published in the early hours of this morning, I mentioned that The Big Dog had fallen from +125 into -200.

He is currently down into -250.

As you can see above, the market has been adjusted with the former WWE Universal Champion, Strowman, now up from +500 to +550.

Bray Wyatt stays at the +150 he was moved to last night.

With Sky Bet and Kambi's markets with Reigns as favourite, the only sportsbook I am following that still has him at longer odds is MyBookie.

The MyBookie website has Wyatt at -250, Strowman at +600 and Reigns at +160. However, the book is strict when it comes to people following moves - or chasing steam - from moves made with other betting platforms.

Here are some other notes about BetOnline's coverage for tonight's show.

- The market for Keith Lee .vs. Randy Orton had the former at -130 and Orton at -110 when  checked in last night. As of right now, Lee's selection has been locked (off the board). Orton is still available at +110

- The lock/OTB thing is also in the market for the Mysterios versus Seth Rollins and Murphy with Rey and Dominik currently unavailable. They were -200 favourites last night. Their opponents are still available at the same price from yesterday: +150

- Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax have dropped into -170 from -150 to get a W against the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions - Bayley and Sasha Banks (+130 from +110)

- No changes have been made to the following markets since last night's visit:  Big E (-400) .vs. Sheamus (+250), Bobby Lashley (-300) .vs. Apollo Crews (+200) and Matt Riddle (-170) .vs. King Corbin (+130)

Prices correct as of this morning. The latest can be found on The BetOnline Website.
