WrestleMania 33 Appearance Odds Published

The oddsmakers at GrosvenorCasinos.com and the sports betting websites listed on this page have opened a book where their customers can bet on people making appearances at WrestleMania 33 on April 2nd 2017.

For bets to be settled as winners, the person must make a 'live in-person appearance' on the night.

The odds, as of earlier this evening, were:

Here are my thoughts.

Batista
I've placed a wager on him at 10/1. In something that really bugs me about these bookmakers, they would only accept £4 when I tried to bet £5.
It's a speculative punt on Batista because Guardians of the Galaxy II is coming out a few weeks after WrestleMania 33. This price has now been cut to 15/2, so I might not be the only one who has backed this selection.

Bill Goldberg
I'm not betting on this one. I wouldn't be surprised if he was at WrestleMania, but I also wrote the same thing for SummerSlam and I got that one wrong.

CM Punk
I highly doubt he'll show up.

Donald Trump
He's either going to be very busy or have a lot of spare time by April 3rd.

Hulk Hogan
I was speaking to someone about Hulk Hogan a couple of days ago and I noted to him that I think 2017 is the year we'll see Hogan return to WWE. I haven't bet on it, though.

Kurt Angle
I keep stating he won't be back in WWE, but I also feel there will come a day when he is inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame. This sort of bet will cash in one day as Hall of Famers get that moment of applause during Manias.

Ronda Rousey
I'm sure we'll see her at a WWE event again. Had backed her to appear at this year's show and got that one incorrect.

Shane McMahon
I don't like the use of the term 'lock' when it comes to sports betting, but THIS IS A LOCK!

The Rock
Will depend on his schedule. He has appeared at the most recent WrestleManias.

The Undertaker
There have been reports of him telling people he was done after the most recent WrestleMania, but we've heard similar things in previous years.

Vin Diesel
If you think Vin Diesel is going to be at WrestleMania, then you'd have to go and bet on The Rock as well. On August 14th, I published a post making points for and against the heat between The Rock and Vin Diesel being a work. I think we'll get a better idea in early 2017. However, by then, the odds would have shortened. Fast 8 is released eleven days after Mania, by the way.

The market can be found alongside other WWE odds on the Grosvenor Casinos Website.

  1. These stupid bookies need to increase their stake limits. £4 is a joke. I wouldn't even bother bending over backwards to pick that up if I found it in loose change at the racetrack. They don't want punters itty bitty stake money eating into their humongous annual profits. Modern bookmakers make over 100 million pounds profit per year!

Dave Bautista is a great bet. He is always eager to step into a WWE Ring and of course, WWE always likes to capitalise on mainstream exposure. Although I read somewhere that he wanted to come back in time for Summerslam 2014, but he felt disrespected that Stephanie and HHH wanted to wait and see if Guardians of the Galaxy would be successful first. The cheek of them!
