Starting with the bottom, the Enzo and Big Cass versus Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson market is still showing the same as it did when the prices were first installed at around 11pm BST yesterday evening. The same goes for the US Championship market that's at the top of the board.
The early birds started nipping at the Cesaro and Sheamus selection when the WWE Tag Team Championship lines first went up. The duo went from +210 to -135, but the edge has now gone the way of the champs as the challengers are now out to +105. In the same period, The New Day went from -290 to -105 but have now shortened to -145.
Brian Kendrick continues to be backed. When I last observed the WWE Cruiserweight Championship market, Kendrick had shortened from -170 to -215. The customers have now forced the oddsmakers to put him further down at -290. As a result, the champion - TJ Perkins, has drifted out from +130 to +165 and now rests at +210.
The WWE Raw Women's Championship market first went to Charlotte as her price dropped from +550 to +150 within the first ninety minutes of the lines being released. This forced the compilers to move Sasha Banks from -1050 to -190. The customers appear to have now started siding with the hometown champion retaining her title as Sasha has shortened to -295 while Charlotte has moved up to +215.
The WWE Universal Championship market has continued to go in favour of the titleholder, Kevin Owens. He has been backed from -350 to -565 and, as of the time of publishing, is a far shorter -1065. This has obviously moved Seth Rollins' price out to +555. He had opened +250 and was +375 in the early hours.
I'll take another browse through the markets throughout the day. They can be found under 'Other Sports' on the betting board at 5Dimes.com.
the Women market got me intrigued , I cant see a reason to back Charlotte,Sasha is a new champion ,her defeat at SS was cause of an injury and I just dont see losing again in his hometown.
ReplyDeleteThats logic any punter would have so I just dont get why Charlotte has been backed so strongly,This could be smart money
I mean why dogs like Rollins, who everyone will agree got a better chance to win than Charlotte, hasnt been backed?
I'm reluctant to call this move smart money because, based on previous events, there seems to always be peculiar shifts in the women's matches that end up falling back in line by the end of the weekend.
DeleteHere's what I think happened last night. You have to first acknowledge that the markets are up late, so the mildest of interest will force the odds to drop a bit more than they would. As well as this, there has been fan speculation on Nia Jax being involved in this match to set up a feud between her and Sasha. This could be reason to consider that it's fan money coming in on Charlotte.
Another thing that has me doubtful that it's smart money is that the price for Cesaro & Sheamus moved as well. In a way, that doesn't make complete sense unless it turns into a count-out or DQ win because I don't think they'd be making a big thing out of New Day gunning for Demolition's record to fail. All they have to do is hold on until December.
Not saying it isn't smart money. As per usual, we won't know for sure until later in the week. I'm just not sold on it right now.
you got a point on it but you think fans would back, the way they did, strongly the idea on Sheamus/Cesaro win by DQ on a mere 2.50 quote.Think about it
ReplyDeleteThey introduced the fact that New Day is heading toward breaking the record. If they're going to fall short, and I don't believe they will, it should be done closer to the date they're aiming for.
DeleteLike I noted, the only way I see Sheamus and Cesaro being victorious is through a DQ/CO.
