A Look At Ladbrokes' Rumble '17 Odds (Dec 6th)

As mentioned in one of the posts from Sunday evening, the Ladbrokes Sportsbook has republished its betting markets for the 2017 WWE Royal Rumble.

I was unable to dedicate any time to looking through the markets when they were placed back online, but was able to do so on Monday evening.

The first thing that's obvious is that Bill Goldberg has now been moved to favourite. He's in this spot because all other websites with Royal Rumble betting odds have him at their top of their boards as well.

Ladbrokes has him at 5/4 as of the time of writing. This is a significant difference to three months ago, long before his return and eventual defeat of Brock Lesnar, when he was 80/1.

Chris Jericho is now fourth on the board at 8/1. This is a drop from 50s. As some of you might know, Jericho has been one of the names that I've been following ever since I noticed his price starting to fall a few months ago. Of all the wagers I have placed on next year's Rumble, I would prefer to see Jericho win as I think his storyline with Kevin Owens has been the best thing on Raw each and every week.

Another person on my shortlist, John Cena, is now 6/1. His price was 20/1 when I managed to bet on him in mid-September. It was then cut to 10s three days later. So, Cena now at 6s moves him into third spot on the list.

Finn Balor, who I pointed out as a potential winner before this year's SummerSlam but have gone cold on with the Owens/Jericho storyline picking up steam, is second-favourite. He's 4/1 now, but had been 6/1.

The other price cuts are:

Randy Orton from 20/1 to 10/1
AJ Styles 18/1 to 12/1
Cesaro 33/1 to 20/1
Braun Strowman 40/1 to 33/1

The selections whose prices have drifted out:

Roman Reigns from 4/1 to 9/1
Seth Rollins from 4/1 to 14/1
Kevin Owens from 4/1 to 14/1
Brock Lesnar from 4/1 to 14/1
Bray Wyatt from 14/1 to 20/1
Conor McGregor from 66/1 to 100/1
CM Punk from 66/1 to 200/1

The rest of the board remains stationary. If available, you can view the full list on this page.
