Roman Reigns Becomes Favourite To Win At Roadblock And More

Roman Reigns is now the favourite to win the WWE Universal Championship match at tonight's Roadblock: End of the Line event.

The challenger to Kevin Owens' strap is now showing at -260 over at 5Dimes.com. In my most recent visit to the market earlier today, he was out at +150.

Reigns had opened at around +350 when the markets first went live in the early hours of this morning, so it had been on the decline from the off.

As a result of the move, Kevin Owens has moved from -190 fave into +180. He started at -530.

This isn't the only change that has been made this afternoon.

Sasha Banks' odds to win the iron man match have dropped. At 9am this morning, the current WWE Raw Women's Champion was -115. She is now -385.

Charlotte Flair is now +265 from -125.

WWE Raw Tag Team Champions - The New Day - have had their outsider odds snipped from +345 into +135. As a result, Sheamus and Cesaro are now -175. They had been -515.

'The Field' versus Rich Swann has dropped from +345 into +250 while Swann has improved from -515 to -350.

Sami Zayn's price to get a result over Braun Strowman has dipped from +145 to +130 while the favourite is now -170 from -185.

Big Cass has moved down from +280 into +205. This means Rusev's price has improved for the punter as he is now -285 from -400.

Odds correct as of 12:30pm GMT. The latest prices can be found over at 5Dimes.com.

  1. Is this the night that the Megadorks explode I wonder... Owens cost Jericho against Rollins, and Jericho cost Owens against Reigns?

Sasha moving in as favorite I can't understand. Would think they would want to keep Charlotte undefeated at PPV. On the other hand there has been talk of Charlotte wanting time off, and there's been hint of Sasha and Bayley working together (maybe with Sasha as heel).

    1. I have a feeling Charlotte is still winning tonight. Not buying that move.

    2. They dont mention her undefeated too much. Also good guys always win at the end (if you not Dolph Zigler).

    3. I wouldn't be surprised if the match ended as a tie after the 30 mins. Sasha retains and charlotte still unbeaten.

    4. Simon,

If it goes to a tie, I'd like it to go one of two ways:

      1) Charlotte requests overtime, Sasha agrees but then loses
      2) Charlotte requests overtime, but Sasha refuses and this will eventually lead to her becoming a heel

    5. I don't think we will get a heel Sasha just yet, think she will retain, and Nia Jax to be the next challenger.

    6. Sasha even more favorite now :o

  2. No surprise. Roman never loze, only to Balor and Rollins after and before he got suspended. So question is, its DQ win, or he is gonna be champion.

Also i like Jericho to win his match.

    1. My guess: Roman by DQ and Rollins to win so he gets to face Kevin Owens to set up HHH's return.

  3. How do people see the outcome of the New Day vs. Sheamus/Cesaro match?

    1. I'd have Cesaro and Sheamus win although someone I spoke to earlier made a good case for New Day to retain and carry on longer.

    2. I'd say them retaining is the better option. It seems a little stupid for them to lose straight away after breaking the record.

    3. It's worth remembering that Nikki Bella lost a few days after breaking a title record.

  4. What about Reigns wins and triple h still has rematch from Wrestlemaina at Royal Rumble?! Then Rollins costs HHH the match

  5. Owens comes out to help Jericho but accidentally distracts him and Seth Pedigree's for the win...

... later that night, Jericho comes out and breaks up the pin that Roman has on Owens (after Spearing him) - causing Roman to win by DQ

They throw reigns out the ring and then Jericho holds up Owens hand etc, and then Jericho spins him around and Codebreakers him, and picks up the Universal title

Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens at Royal Rumble (rematch due to DQ win, deserves another shot etc, but also has to defend US title earlier in show, which he wins but it 'tires him out' so Owens can get a clean win without making Reigns look weak) - and then Jericho wins the RR!

    Please deliver WWE!
