Jericho Back At The Top Of My List

Chris Jericho is now back at the top of my list of potential Royal Rumble winners.

As regular visitors are sure to know - I now have four names on my current shortlist and my opinion of Jericho winning January's battle royal had began to waver when it appeared as though he and Kevin Owens' split was happening in time to set up a meeting between the two in a singles match at the Royal Rumble.

At the close of last night's Roadblock event, Jericho interfered by attacking Kevin Owens. It resulted in Roman Reigns being disqualified before Jericho revealed that the Codebreaker to Owens was a plot to get his friend the win.

There are five weeks of television to go before the Royal Rumble, but - as of right now - I am confident that Owens versus Jericho is not going to be a fixture on the January 29th card. 

I am still somewhat concerned that the Universal Championship will land in the hands of Roman Reigns, but doubt is just part of betting on these things. 

If any of you are interested in wagering on Chris Jericho, the market price is 5/1, You can find him at these odds at Betfair, Ladbrokes and Paddy Power. I wasn't the first to jump onto a Jericho Rumble win. I caught him when he was 33/1. There are others out there that bet on him in the autumn when he was 50s.

For what it's worth, the other names on my shortlist, in order, are:

John Cena

Finn Balor

Braun Strowman (this is especially if Roman Reigns becomes Universal Champion before the Rumble match)

I can't see any more possible victors entering the fray, but never say never.

I last checked in with the markets two hours ago. There have been a few changes made since that time.

Kevin Owens' price has fallen from +220 while Roman Reigns' number has improved from -300.

Braun Strowman has moved in from -245 while Sami Zayn has moved out from +175.

Big Cass and Rusev are both at pick 'em. Cass was up at +165 and Rusev favoured at -215 previously.

The remaining markets are unchanged.

Kambi's Roadblock Time Props Revisited

In a post published yesterday, I looked through the Kambi oddsmaker's match duration props that have been priced up for tonight's Roadblock PPV. Now that it has been well over a day since then, I've had another look through the four markets to see if there have been any price changes.

Here's what I found.

Sasha Banks .vs. Charlotte Flair

This market has been priced up where the customers can bet on when the first fall takes place in the iron man match. The two options are '15 minutes or more' or '14:59 or less'. When I checked the prices last, the fifteen minutes plus option was 6/4. It is now 5/4, so I guess that's what the clients have sided with at the moment. When the market was first installed, they were taking the lower option.

The '14:59 or less' is now 5/9, but was 23/50 yesterday afternoon.

Sami Zayn .vs. Braun Strowman

This market opened with 'Ten minutes or more' favoured at 1/7 while the '9:59 or less' was 15/4. As I expect this match will go the ten-minute distance, the 'or more' option stood out. However, I wasn't going to take the 1/7.

As of the time of publishing, the bookmakers have it at a slightly better 1/5. I'm still not going to bet at these odds, but some of you out there may be interested!

For what it's worth, the option for the bout to go under 9:59 is now 3/1.

Chris Jericho vs Seth Rollins

This market opened with '24 minutes or more' at EVENS. It's now out at 7/4, so the '23:59 or less' has been the punters' choice. I can't argue with that.

If you'd like to jump on the 23:59 or under option, then you're now looking at picking it at 2/5. Had you placed your bet yesterday, you would have had 18/25.

Kevin Owens .vs. Roman Reigns

This has been set really high, in my opinion. The traders put up '30 minutes or more' and '29:59 or less' when the market was first published on Saturday morning. The early money came in on the lower option as it was changed to 13/20 (the other choice went from 9/10 to 11/10).

As of the time of writing, the money has evidently continued to land on the under. It's now an even shorter 2/5. If you think it'll go thirty minutes or over, you can now find it at 7/4.

Latest 5Dimes Roadblock Moves (5pm GMT)

A number of 5Dimes.com's WWE Roadblock: End of the Line match markets have changed since I last checked in with the website a couple of hours ago.

Firstly, the customers have once again sided with Rusev to win the Kick-Off match. His price is now -350 from -285.

As a result, Big Cass' number has increased from +205 to +250.

The WWE Raw Tag Team Championship market has seen the challengers, Cesaro and Sheamus come in from -175 into -210 while The New Day have gone to +160 from +135.

Seth Rollins' price has shortened for his bout against Chris Jericho. He's now a -505 favourite. He had been -400 for most of the day. This moves Jericho out from +280 to +335.

Kevin Owens has seen some backers within the couple of hours. Despite still being an underdog, his number has fallen from +250 into +150 with Roman Reigns now -190 from -350.

Finally, in what is the market that has been the topic of discussion the most today, the iron man match market has seen bets coming in on Charlotte Flair. She's still the outsider, but Flair's number has fallen from +360 to +190 between 3pm and 5pm.

This now puts those interested in placing a wager on Sasha Banks in a perfect position as she is now -270. Had you placed a bet two hours ago, you were looking at -540.

Ladbrokes Add More Roadblock Match Markets

Ladbrokes.com has added more WWE Roadblock: End of the Line match markets.

The new match markets are Sami Zayn .vs. Braun Strowman and The New Day versus Cesaro and Sheamus.

The pre-show match market was removed shortly after it was published yesterday evening.

The entire board can be viewed in the image below.

It appears as though the company has also extended the time these markets will be available as well. When they were initially installed, the plan was to have them removed at 7pm GMT.

It seems that the punters have continued to bet on Roman Reigns and Sasha Banks winning their respective matches.

In the most recent 5Dimes update, I noted that Reigns had become a favourite. I noted that his price had moved from +150 at 9am to -260 by 12:30pm GMT with WWE Universal Champion, Kevin Owens, moving out from -190 into +180.

At that point, Sasha Banks' price had moved in from -115 to -385 while Charlotte Flair drifted from -125 to +265.

Roman Reigns Becomes Favourite To Win At Roadblock And More

Roman Reigns is now the favourite to win the WWE Universal Championship match at tonight's Roadblock: End of the Line event.

The challenger to Kevin Owens' strap is now showing at -260 over at 5Dimes.com. In my most recent visit to the market earlier today, he was out at +150.

Reigns had opened at around +350 when the markets first went live in the early hours of this morning, so it had been on the decline from the off.

As a result of the move, Kevin Owens has moved from -190 fave into +180. He started at -530.

This isn't the only change that has been made this afternoon.

Sasha Banks' odds to win the iron man match have dropped. At 9am this morning, the current WWE Raw Women's Champion was -115. She is now -385.

Charlotte Flair is now +265 from -125.

WWE Raw Tag Team Champions - The New Day - have had their outsider odds snipped from +345 into +135. As a result, Sheamus and Cesaro are now -175. They had been -515.

'The Field' versus Rich Swann has dropped from +345 into +250 while Swann has improved from -515 to -350.

Sami Zayn's price to get a result over Braun Strowman has dipped from +145 to +130 while the favourite is now -170 from -185.

Big Cass has moved down from +280 into +205. This means Rusev's price has improved for the punter as he is now -285 from -400.

Here are the latest Roadblock: End of the Line betting odds that can be found on the 5Dimes Website.

I last checked in with these markets at around 3:40am this morning. There are mild differences between then and now.

Big Cass' odds have dropped from +340 to +280. As a result, Rusev's number has improved from -510 to -400.

Braun Strowman was showing as a -145 fave, but has shortened into -185. This has increased Sami Zayn's odds from +105 to +145.

Rich Swann's price to retain the WWE Cruiserweight Championship has moved in from -475 to -515. The Field has drifted from +325 to +345.

The iron man match has sort of gone the way of Charlotte between then and now. Flair's price went in from -110 to -125 while the champ has moved up from -130 to -115. With that said, Sasha had a steep drop from +400 to -130 in the first hour of the market going live.

Chris Jericho's odds have dropped from +350 to +280 since the previous update. Seth Rollins' number has bettered for the punters who may want to punt on him as he is now -400 from -530.

Finally, Kevin Owens was -185. He is now -190. The price for a Roman Reigns win in the main event has moved from +145 to +150.
