Payback 2017 Odds Dips For Bliss, Reigns And Owens

I've just made the first of what will surely be many visits of the day to the 5Dimes Sportsbook's website to have a look over the WWE Payback 2017 betting odds for tonight. I've noticed three slight changes. All going the way of outsiders.

The first thing I've noticed is Alexa Bliss' odds to win the WWE Raw Women's Championship match has been lowered from the +1,500 I recorded last night. As of 8am BST, she is now a +1,400 outsider to win the match.

This obviously means that Bayley's price has drifted out a tad. She has moved from -4,500 to -3,600.

Roman Reigns' odds to get a decision over Braun Strowman in their grudge match has also been lowered.

A winning bet on Reigns will now pay out at odds of +1,000 whereas you would have found him up at +1,200 last night. Strowman backers can now get the selection at -2,000 which is a slight improvement from the -2,600 they were being asked to wager last night.

The most noteworthy move - in my opinion - has been for Kevin Owens.

Chris Jericho was backed to win the WWE US Championship match both domestically (Friday night) and off-shore (Yesterday afternoon). It was a move that made me take notice because of the fact that Jericho is set to depart WWE imminently. I expected, from the start, for Kevin Owens to successfully retain the US Title but now - based on the line moves - a Jericho victory, whether it's straight up or by two most likely outcomes: disqualification or countout -  should not be ruled out.

In yesterday's move, Jericho went from a +280 underdog at the start of the day to a -1,200 favourite by the nighttime. Owens, on the other side of the market, went from -400 to +600 overnight, so there are evidently people out there who have backed the underdog.

There will be another post within the next few minutes showing all of the Payback 2017 odds as of this morning. I wanted to make note of these three moves before I did that.

Odds were correct as of 8am BST today. The most up to date pricing can be viewed under 'Other Sports' on the 5Dimes Website.

  1. Just me thinking Jericho/Owens is going to end as a draw/no contest?

    2. I thought - going in - that Reigns/Strowman had the better chance of ending in a tie so they could go to a stip match (Ambulance or stretcher match) for Extreme Rules.
