Three Selections Backed For Sunday's PPV

Breezango, Shinsuke Nakamura and Luke Harper are three selections that appear to be Paddy Power customers' choices to win their respective matches at this Sunday's WWE Backlash pay-per-view.

The traders from the Irish sportsbook released match markets for the card around this time yesterday. I had a look over the markets a number of hours later and noticed that the customers had backed Nakamura and Harper, so it's Breezango that gets top billing in today's coverage.

The number one contenders to The Usos' WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship started off as 11/10 outsiders. They remain underdogs, but their price has been lowered to 10/11.

I guess the reason behind the customers backing the duo is because of how popular their Fashion Files skits have been on the latest episodes of Smackdown.

With Breezango moving down slightly, the odds for the champs have obviously been increased. They're now 8/11 after previously being 4/6.

I noted in the most recent post that Shinsuke Nakamura's price had been cut from 4/11 into 2/7. This has continued with 'The Artist' now down to 2/9 with Ziggler moving from 15/8 to 9/4 and then to 11/4 in the same period.

The Erick Rowan .vs. Luke Harper market initially went the way of the latter because he was backed from 4/6 into 4/7 with Rowan moving out from 11/10 to 5/4.

However, after last night's post - where I made a case for Rowan after his appearance on Tuesday's edition of Talking Smack - there appeared to have been some interest as the market reverted back to where it was initially.

Since this morning, the punters have evidently landed back on Harper as his selection has moved back in.

Date/Time
Luke Harper
Erick Rowan

4/7

18/5 11am

6/5

The obvious thing working in Harper's favour is the fact that he lost to Rowan on last week's edition of Smackdown. Fifty/Fifty booking would point to it being the babyface's turn to get the win.

As for the other matches on the card - the odds remain the same as yesterday. They are:

Randy Orton 1/6
Jinder Mahal 7/2

Baron Corbin 4/7
Sami Zayn 5/4

AJ Styles 8/11
Kevin Owens EVS

Naomi and Co. 4/9
Welcoming Committee 13/8
