Paddy's Backlash Odds: 7 Hours Later

It has been seven hours since I first noted down Paddy Power's WWE Backlash 2017 odds. I've just had another look through the markets to see what the early birds have taken a liking to and noticed there are a couple of selections that have evidently been backed.

Firsly, Luke Harper has moved in from 4/6 to 4/7 for his meeting with Erick Rownan. A win for the former stablemate will now pay out at odds of 5/4 after originally being 11/10.

A couple of people I've been in touch with today have told me they've backed Harper. All have noted they have done so because Rowan got the win on last week's edition of Smackdown.

I'm on the opposite of the fence, though.

After watching Talking Smack, and seeing Rowan introduce an even creepier side to his persona, I thought I'd have a speculative punt on the underdog.

The other selection that has shortened isn't a surprise.

Shinsuke Nakamura has been cut from 4/11 to 2/7 in what is being billed as his Smackdown debut. As a result of the punters gambling on Nakamura, the oddsmakers have moved Dolph Ziggler further out. He has gone from 15/8 to 9/4.

I am in agreement with those that have backed Nakamura. It would be a negative to have him lose in this spot.

The rest of the markets are the same as they were at 3:30pm BST today. You can read about their release in this post.
