MITB Cash-In At Battleground 2017 Odds

With Randy Orton's odds to win the WWE Championship inside the Punjabi prison cage match at Battleground dropping this afternoon, I thought I'd look at some specials that were published by Kambi earlier today to see if any customers had backed a Money in the Bank cash-in during the pay-per-view.

There were three markets installed for cash-ins. One covered 'Any' of the briefcases to be cashed in during the show, the other focused on Carmella's briefcase and the third was all about Baron Corbin's contract.

The option to back 'Any Briefcase' to be cashed in opened at even money. As of 4pm BST today, the option is still showing at this price.

A cash-in by Baron Corbin during the PPV opened at 7/4. There must have been some interest in this market - albeit slight - as the selection has been lowered to 6/4.

For what it's worth, I had entertained the thought of Randy Orton defeating Jinder Mahal for the title only for Baron Corbin to cash in his contract. The idea came to me a few days ago when I was thinking of something for the William Hill Battleground Specials Request Post. With that said, I don't believe that the favouring of Orton this afternoon means anything at this point despite how far Orton's price has plummeted.

As for the women's Money in the Bank - the odds for this have stayed at 3/1. It isn't surprising considering Naomi isn't booked to wrestle on the show. When the day comes, I expect the women's cash-in to occur immediately after a title match.
