Latest Battleground 2017 Odds From Paddy Power

Following some peculiar betting activity this afternoon in the WWE Battleground 2017 markets over here in Europe, I've checked back in on Paddy Power's WWE Betting Page to see what the odds are now.

Here are all the latest odds.

Tye Dillinger .vs. Aiden English
Dillinger moved in from 4/11 to 1/6 this afternoon. He is still showing at these odds. A winning bet on Aiden English will pay out at 7/2. He was 15/8 before more money came in on Dillinger.

AJ Styles .vs. Kevin Owens
You know that saying about a picture telling a thousand words? Well, how about a table?

The action has been going back-and-forth here. I don't understand why Owens was backed because there have been teases of AJ Styles defending the US Championship against John Cena and Shinsuke Nakamura on TV recently. Styles is back to favouritism now, anyway.

Mike Kanellis .vs. Sami Zayn
It's back to square one in the match market for Mike Kanellis' PPV debut against Sami Zayn.

Kanellis opened as a favourite yesterday. Today's action saw Sami Zayn's price slashed from 5/4 into 1/4 before Kanellis moved out from 5/2 back to his Friday price of 8/11.

Fatal 5-Way
Interestingly, this market has been taken off the board. The last thing I noticed was Charlotte Flair's odds descend from 8/15 to 1/6. This might have changed since then, so I'll be interested to see what the odds are if - or when - it returns.

The New Day .vs. The Usos
The WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions were cut from 6/4 into 1/4 when the flurry occurred this afternoon. The New Day moved out from 1/2 to 5/2 in this time. The prices remain unchanged.

Shinsuke Nakamura .vs. Baron Corbin
Corbin's price plummeted from 6/4 into 3/10 this afternoon. However, his price has since drifted out to 6/5.
Nakamura went from 1/2 favourite to 11/5 outsider and back into favourite in this time. He's currently 8/13.

John Cena .vs. Rusev
John Cena was 1/7 and Rusev was 4/1 at the start of the day. The market didn't move when the others did although the price for Rusev has now been cut to 5/2. A winning wager on Cena will now pay out at 1/4.

Jinder Mahal .vs. Randy Orton
Here's how the market changed since this morning:

Another back-and-forth where Orton moved from 2/1 to 2/5 before drifting back out.

  1. Just had a thought.

Let's say Nakamura beats Corbin then later Randy wins the Punjabi prison match but then gets beaten down further by Jinder and the Singh brothers. And then Corbin cashes in.

And we get Corbin Vs Nakamura Vs Randy Vs Jinder in a fatal 4 way at SummerSlam.

  2. They aren't going to have two 4-ways for the major titles on a show.
