5Dimes' SummerSlam 2017 Odds Update (6pm BST Saturday)

It has been a few hours since the 5Dimes Sportsbook published the remaining WWE SummerSlam 2017 match markets to its website. I have returned to look over all of the markets both new and old.

Brock Lesnar's odds to win the WWE Universal Championship match have moved back into -320 this evening. The titleholder was -260 at around 2:25pm.

As a result, 'The Field' has drifted back to +240 from +180.

Braun Strowman's price has been lowered from +1,250 to +1,100 while Samoa Joe has been pushed from +325 to +375. Roman Reigns stays at +1,500.

There has been a flip in the WWE Raw Women's Championship market as Alexa Bliss has moved in from +155 to -185.

With Bliss entering favouritism, Sasha Banks has moved to +145 outsider from -195.

Shinsuke Nakamura's odds to claim a victory in the WWE Championship match were at -415 this afternoon. They are now down to -1,050.

This has resulted in the titleholder, Jinder Mahal, moving out to +550 from +295.

The three markets covered above had been available ahead of today. I'll now run through the latest prices from the new additions.

WWE Cruiserweight Champion, Akira Tozawa, opened at -145 but has now been cut into -310. The former champ - Neville - has drifted out from +105 to +230.

The New Day, who were -245 to successfully retain the Smackdown Tag Team Championship, have dropped to -505. The Usos have increased from +175 to +335.

There has been a flip in the trios market as The Hardys and Jason Jordan, who opened as +120 underdogs, are now -210 favourites. This obviously means that their opponents have moved from -160 to +160.

Naomi is now a -530 favourite to successfully retain the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship against Natalya. The titleholder had opened at -280, so the customers have sided with her. A win for the challenger was originally penciled in at +200, but it has now risen to +350.

Kevin Owens' odds to get a decision over AJ Styles in the US Championship match has been snipped from +400 into +280. As a result, Styles is now -400 to go over. He had opened at -600.

Rusev has shortened from -230 to -505 for his meeting with Randy Orton. A victory for The Viper has increased from +170 to +335.

The Big Show's odds have been lowered from +300 to +140. Big Cass, who started out as a -420 fave, is -180.

Bray Wyatt has been cut from +550 to +365. This has therefore forced the traders to push Finn Balor out. He has moved to -555 from -1,050.

Baron Corbin went from outsider to favourite against John Cena. He started out at +170, but is now -150. Cena moved out from -230 to +110.

Finally, WWE Raw Tag Team Championship betting has leaned in favour of the champs as Cesaro and Sheamus' number has been snipped from +300 to +166. Their opponents, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, have drifted out to -220 from -420.

Odds correct as of 6pm BST. The latest can be found under 'Other Sports' on the 5Dimes Website.

    2. Really? Even when it seems WWE are trying to push for Shane Vs Kevin?

    3. I know someone who has an idea where Owens wins. I'll let him tell you...

    4. He's busy at the moment, but he said I can repeat it.

Owens wins by DQ, so he doesn't become US Champion and this leads to his beef with Shane.

    5. This is possible but I don't see this happening especially when it's the last match of this feud

    6. He doesn't think so either, but he threw it out there when I was talking about possible finishes with him the other day.

  3. Thirteen matches which means I have double the content to write about and I'm trying to cut corners. It isn't working well at all.

  4. That's actually possible if WWE wants to both protect Owens and officially start KO - Shane feud

  5. Doesn't this look like smart money? I think it is. Especially value on betting Raw Tag champs and Bray right now.

    1. It's dumb money. Balor losing makes no sense.

    2. Dumb money... I like it!

I agree Balor losing really makes no sense unless WWE are trying to look "surprising" again by giving demon Balor a loss

    3. But what with Big Show odds?? I cant imagine somebody bet on him

    4. That's another one. However, I did think of a way Show COULD win even though I doubt he will.
      Balor losing is nonsense.

    5. I felt Cass/Show could go either way. Cass winning makes more sense though personally as he needs as much of a push as possible right now.

    6. Show can win by DQ. I sense Club appearence.. and i think this match will be complete joke

    7. Any match where someone is in a shark cage above it is a joke. Such silly creativity. If it gets any more stars from Wrestling Observer then Jinder Vs Randy in Punjabi prison match I'll be mad.
