SummerSlam 2017 Main Event Wins Kambi's 'Highest Rated Match' Market In WON Betting

The SummerSlam 2017 main event was given the most stars in Dave Meltzer's review of the pay-per-view in his most recent issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

This news might be of interest to those of you who had a bet on Kambi's special market over the weekend where clients could have a punt on the match they thought would get the most stars in this week's edition of the newsletter.

WWE SummerSlam 2017 Wrestling Observer Star Ratings Betting Closing Odds

The bout received four-and-three-quarter stars. It was followed by both of the tag team championship matches on the card. They were graded four stars each.

The fatal four-way, which was eventually won by Brock Lesnar, opened as a 3/5 favourite.

For the record, both of the women's matches received three stars and - of the bouts that would have qualified for 'Any Other Match' - The Miz and Miztourage's win over Jason Jordan and The Hardys, from the Kick Off, was the highest rated with two-and-a-quarter stars.

A market where customers could get 10/1 odds on a match receiving five stars or more will obviously be graded as a loss when they're settled.

I'll have another post where I cover the over/under Observer star rating betting later on today.

These markets were available from the betting websites that use the Kambi Group's WWE odds. A few examples can be found below:
